So this is my hair progress thus far...
Obviously it's a little longer when it's totally straight. I can't remember the last time I cut it, but the last time I dyed it was November 2013. It's been interesting to see the regrowth and know exactly how much it grows each month. I'm not quite sure what I want to do with it when I'm feeling up to colouring and styling it, but I knew I wanted something different than I'd had before. I'm super impressed I've not reached for the scissors yet, I usually do that when I'm bored or frustrated! I just feel now that I've gotten over that in-between stage, it would be a pity to ruin all my 'hard work' by chopping it off. I'm still not totally convinced about not having a fringe. It seemed like a good idea to grow it out, but I do think I suit it better with. A change will be nice though and it does feel novel actually having some length. Have you had a 'transformation' lately or fancied doing something completely different?

I'm also growing my hair out so I can go through the big change of installing dreadlocks. I'm not sure if it'll suit me or what the repercussions may be regarding work etc but it's something I've wanted to do for a long time now.
ReplyDeleteThe growing process is a nightmare though, I keep wanting to chop it all off again (my hairdresser is surprised I've gone this long as well XD) but I'm persevering :)
Brilliant, if it's something you've always wanted, go for it! When I was 12 I desperately wanted waist length braids so I could look like Lisa Bonet! Not sure I'd suit them or want them now like! I have no idea what I want to do next with my hair, not even pulled one direction with colour, think I've tried most things, will have to get my thinking cap on.
DeleteOh my, your hair is so long now!! I know what you mean about being tempted to cut it (I'm so tempted right now to cop some off, especially when it will be warmer outside, having long hair can be really frustrating!) I'm also always letting my fringe grow out, chopping it back and then letting it grow out again :D
ReplyDeleteDo you know what color you will go for? I love how when you have your hair in a bun the bun is all pale blonde :)
I just love a transformation, so I see scissors and think "ahhh that would be cool", but must resist! No idea about colours...feel like I tried almost everything there is or that I like.
DeleteIsn't it curly!!!! x
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks to my Heidi harlequin hair!
DeleteLook how long its grown! I actually love how your natural colour has grown out and created like a dip-dye with the bleached area!
ReplyDeleteHaha it's so cool how it looks like that! There was the dodgy in-between time when it just looked like I had really bad roots!
