So today my skin heard about this thing I'm doing called #BeRealMarch and decided to test my will to NOT use the spot corrector tool and began sprouting sore, under the skin (but still bloomin' visible) spots along my chin. Thanks a lot pal!
Look though I resisted the tool and even pointed out said skin blemishes, just on the off chance you missed them. Cause I'm keepin' it real homes! You know what else I hate, see further up that big freckle? It really annoys me. I mean I have loads of freckles anyway (which I've never been fond of), but this one is huge and even visible when wearing makeup. So in the past I've edited it out, because it looks like a spot and it's not. There's my confession for the day. Do you have anything you'd like to confess?

I have scars and freckles I conceal every day too!! Some time without makeup would be amazing but today I just need makeup to make me feel better - my car got broken into and all the windows smashed and eveything got taken :( so makeup and nice clothes just makes it seem better today.. haha lame but true
ReplyDeleteWe all have imperfections. Thanks for being so awesome and sharing yours xxxxx

Oh no, sorry to hear that. Absolutely, there are days getting dressed up in fancy things makes you feel a heap better. I always get a buzz when I buy lipstick for some reason, don't know why it excites me more than other makeup : )
DeleteI really like your freckles! I only have a few freckles and they are those dark ones that are super visible but I've never really cared about them, but I really like other people's light freckles, like the ones you have ;) I've never used a spot corrector (is it something in photoshop?) because I just take photos with my phone and then post the ones I look least crap in :DD
ReplyDeleteI use Pixlr Express to edit and it has this cool thing that you just click on the spot and it blends it like the surrounding area. It's great for flecks of dust, dirt, fingerprints and such like on makeup, floor or surfaces, but can also be used to cover spots on the face. I use it a lot (not just on my face), it's really handy. I don't know why, but I've always been really self conscious of my freckles. My parents used to tell me they were kisses from fairies, because I disliked them so much. Maybe because my sisters never had them and I always felt like it made my skin look 'blotchy' or imperfect.
DeleteI am too lazy to cover up my imperfections- I have maaaaaaaaaaaaasivehuge dark circles under my eyes but I don't do anything about them!x
ReplyDeleteSometimes if my eye bags looked really bad in a photo, I'd go into Taaz (a virtual makeover site) and use the undereye concealer in that, to lighten the area. Sneaky!
