Hello, here's my second weekly summary of what's been happening.  I wanted to post it last week, but I was busy doing other things and am trying not to beat myself up too much if blogging isn't as punctual as it should be.  Health-wise I'm at a point where I have to choose one thing or another, I can't do both, so I made that choice and I enjoyed what I was doing.  I'm genuinely so happy to have a few blog posts completed already, I wasn't sure I'd manage it, so I'm not putting pressure on myself to do more than I can.  I hope you're all coping as best as you can with the heat (I was actually in tears watching the fires on the news).  It had been cooler here recently, but unfortunately back to sweltering the past few days.  I know we're nowhere near the hottest in the country, but...

So, a few weeks ago Mum and I went out for lunch (if an ice-cream sundae qualifies as a meal!) and I'm making a point of wearing makeup when I leave the house now (rare occasions, but I'll take that). I didn't have long to get ready but used a few new things and thought I'd share my thoughts, alongside some other new items I've been playing with.   

For years now, I've bought the Lancome beauty box that comes out at this time of year. With me not being well last year, not getting out, not wearing makeup and the box not being overly exciting (!) I didn't get it. I was itching to see if it had improved this year and am pleased to say, it's brilliant! So I ordered it the second it came online, but it's going to be from Santa, though he agreed I could take photos for my blog and then he'd take it away again until the big day! Thanks Santa!

This post has been neglected for so long! I ordered the stuff back in May and each week it's been 'carried over' into another week because I've not had time.  My health woes this year have been well documented, but this past week I've been struggling with motivation and fighting extreme tiredness on top of hospital appointments and having my nephews here 3 days a week.  Blogging has just been a no-go unfortunately.  I'm still completely shattered today, but have given myself a wee pep talk and the first thing to tackle was this post. There's so much editing and writing required, that's why I'm unable to post them as regularly as I used to.  Anyway enough blethering, on with the Debenhams/Lancome haul. My main only reason for buying was because they had a rather spiffy GWP, but I dithered for so long on what to get (actually I was holding out waiting for the summer collection that never happened), that the couple of things I'd wanted went ou...

I've mentioned (more than once) that I had a big beauty haul brewing and finally here it is. I have to admit, I didn't realise just how big it was, until I started editing all 133 'final' photos (yep, so I must've taken around 300 initially). Now I realise why my camera shut down mid-shoot complaining of being overheated! I wasn't sure how to publish so much information...should I split it into parts, go by brand or type? However looking at the photos, they can't really be separated, it makes more sense to splurge the whole entire caboodle at once, so prepare yourself for a lengthy post. Photobucket have rather unhelpfully muddled my photos upon upload and I've got 5 pages to sort through, so I hope I don't forget any! Ok, so Escentual . Escentual have become my bestest friends.
