Pink Haired Princess

Shortly before Christmas a few more of the things I'd ordered online were delivered. I haven't had the time or space to properly photograph them yet but took these very quick images the evening I received them. The lighting therefore is hopeless, but some of the pictures have turned out ok. First up are my Jean Paul Gaultier Melissa sandals from Shudoo which looked better without the tights I was wearing that day, so no 'on the foot' photos. They are a little tight on me, true to size in length though. I actually forgot how thin the heel was when I was prancing around my room in them. You definitely don't feel like you have to tread carefully for fear of snapping it. Upon closer inspection, I realised it's metal-obviously it would have to be otherwise a jelly heel that narrow wouldn't hold any weight. I'm such a brat, seriously I am. It's just so difficult to avoid the fantastic sale bargains and pretty shoes that are out there just now (or is that just me?). I'm still due my sister money, but have managed to spend more than I've paid her this week. She should really take priority, but I have no willpower, it's true! Secret Sales were stocking Kandee shoes this week at half price and remember the 2 pairs I really wanted ? Well, I thought they wouldn't have them, it was a long shot, but they did. Unfortunately according to the Kandee site the blue studded pair run small, so they didn't have a 6 in stock and I really didn't want to risk spending £75 on the 5's if they didn't fit. They did however have both sizes of the super rare diamond pair. Although I'm sceptical as to how far these "only 60 pairs made worldwide" have stretched considering they're still in stock on the Kandee site and they've sold several pairs through...

I'm really in love with these strappy 'Superstar' wedges from Bertie. They remind me of the pair from the gorgeous collaboration between Chloe Sevigny and Opening Ceremony. They don't have the fancy buckles and the straps are thinner, but they are still seriously hot! I'm picturing them with coloured tights for winter. £110 at Shudoo. I'm loving that yet again they are trying something new-who knew it was possible to create jelly shoes with such a skinny stiletto heel?
