Irregular Choice: In Search Of?

Image
I've put together an extensive list of stockists of limited edition or harder to find Irregular Choice styles that may have sold out quickly that you thought you'd missed forever. There's around 60 styles here including character heels, Alice, Cinderella, Star Wars and even some bags.  Be warned a lot of the styles are the last in that size so if you want them, act fast.  I haven't included Australian, US stores etc, because this list took so long to put together at it was.  I'll also add Amazon have a lot of the character heels and Disney releases (though some are sold by US sellers and the sizing is US NOT UK, so watch out for that) but I haven't linked to those either.  While on the point of sizing, double check with the place you are buying from how their sizing works.  Sizes 40 upwards get called different things along with a 36 sometimes referred to as a 3 or 3.5, so it may have gotten jumbled between what they think or I've written.  You'll find ...

DIY Tinsel Shoes Tutorial

Image
Do not adjust your screens, these are real shoes people! Firstly, happy new year to you all, hope 2017 is a brilliant one! I set myself a little DIY project before Christmas. Well actually as is the usual way, I thought it all out, then left it for weeks and weeks and last minute decided I should do something about it or the moment would be gone until next year. My background is in fashion, so obviously back then I was extremely creative and it's not something I've been able to indulge in since being ill. In an ideal world, I'd sit and sew and design and craft things all day long, but my brain doesn't work the way it used to and I know I'm not physically up to it either. However, I got this thing in my head that I wanted to make tinsel shoes.

Irregular Choice Alice: Teapot Heels

Image
This week I have another of my Irregular Choice Alice In Wonderland purchases. This time, I'm ticking two off the list, with both the teacup shoes and boots. You can find the floral Flowers Can't Talk here if you missed them last time and next week, I'll have yet another pair to show you. It would've been criminal to ignore the obvious tea party theme for these two, but I've kept the backgrounds different for all the other styles, so there's even more for you to see!  Like I said originally, I found it really difficult to choose between these two pairs, despite them having the same heel. I'll admit I loved the boot more, but still maintain they are different enough to warrant owning both. I'll begin with the shoe, One Lump Or Two? , which I felt were the R2D2 of the collection. Do you know what I mean by that?  The title shoe or poster shoe of the collection if you will. They are everything I would expect (and more) from an Alice themed shoe whi...

Irregular Choice Take A Chance

Image
Hello lovelies and Happy New Year (if I can say that, 2 weeks in)! I'd hoped to get back to blogging last week, after being out of my routine over Christmas, but it didn't really happen. I'm organised and raring to go this week though. Beginning with a new pair of shoes I'd had my eye on for a long time, but bought just before Christmas.

Schuh Crazy Glitter Shoes

Image
Hello lovelies, it's been shoes galore recently, hasn't it? If you can manage high heels, then these are your Christmas shoes sorted. Glitter-tastic!

Schuh Unicorn Dream Boat

Image
Argh, I say I'm back, then totally flake on you again, sorry! Best laid plans and all that. My nephews were here again (which I forgot about) and there just aren't enough hours in the day, as I'm sure you know. I've also been out of sorts with a sore throat which turned into a cough and cold. My voice bore the brunt and let me tell you none of this is a good look on a girl! It started with a Dean Winchester level of low (that's like hella low), then I annoyingly sounded like I permanently needed to clear my throat (think Sophia Bush). Then came Madge Bishop (not good), which progressed into Marge's sisters in The Simpson's ( really not good), then Voight in Chicago PD (seriously Channel 5 get subtitles for that programme, Jason Beghe cannot be understood without them). Then came wheezy and barely there, like the scary dog that chases Babe (but turns nice) in Babe: Pig In The City. It's dropping to Dean levels again along with the wheezing which ...

Irregular Choice Panda Shoe Comparison

Image
I thought you'd be keen to see a side-by-side comparison of both colours of the Irregular Choice panda heels, if you were still debating which to buy. I initially promised this post last week, but I bought another pair, so wanted to combine all three.  The majority of photos are of Pin Yin, but I've thrown in some Tian Tian too.

Irregular Choice: Lammie & Lil Lamb

Image
Hello my lovelies! As promised here are my new buys from Irregular Choice. They arrived yesterday morning, but it's taken all day to sort through and edit the pics and man is there plenty of 'em! So grab a biccie and settle in : )

Irregular Choice Lamb Heels

Image
It's new season at Irregular Choice and time for the character heels to begin! There was the pre-order of the lovely bride and groom heels at the end of 2014 (for delivery in February), which I somehow resisted. Willpower skillz ahoy! Ok, so had they been a 'boy and girl' i.e. in non wedding attire, I'd have been all over them and the shoes themselves were hot. I just felt the 'wedding' theme wasn't relevant (to me) and folk would think I was permanently headed off to the church every time I wore them! Not that I usually give two hoots what people think. Anyhoo, I resisted, so let's just congratulate me on that for a moment. Then came a sneaky preview of two new styles, lamb and dinosaur heels! The little lamb launched today at 12pm (and I'm hoping by now I've ordered a pair). Yes I have!

Irregular Choice: New 'Cherry Deer'

Image
Hey ladies (I can't say that without adding "hey fellas, you know you're doing good 'cause they jealous", I used to love that song!), anyway, I have something you want to see... a new colourway of the 'Cherry Deer' fawn heels from Irregular Choice! I'm very excited because I haven't seen them in any of the previews, so was taken aback to find them today.  They are a muted, peachy beige with wine trim and just feel sooo perfectly autumnal.  The bow and cherries blend beautifully with these colours and the fawn heel fits in well, with it's earthy tones.

Irregular Choice: One Who Charms & Magic Pony

A picture heavy but chatter light post today, because I'm absolutely pooper-scoopered, but thought you'd want to see the wonderful new arrivals.

Irregular Choice Oz Smooch

Image
Ooh, is that some tasty new season Irregular Choice I see? It is indeedy. Exclusive to Schuh , these "Oz Smooch" take on the basic shape of spring/summer's "Can't Touch This" or "I'm Bossy" which is a good thing I think because I love them! I'm also a fan of the carved perspex heel, it's IC's signature really, so I'm glad they continue to use it. Plus as an avid high-heel wearer, this is my go-to, comfy, wear it all day long heel! You can see a better image of the new trim above...it's a shiny ice-cream sundae! At first glance I thought it was an Oscar statue, hee hee! The print is the ice-cream one from a few seasons back (yet another fave, so glad to see it return) and the shoe has the t-bar strap and stud closure. And new season equals...new soles, yipee! Loving that cuckoo clock. They are also available in glitter if the print above isn't your cup of tea. The shoes are priced £80 and if the sizing is the same as ...

I'm Almost Back

Image
Hi! Still no computer and I'm starting to want to strangle the guys in the shop-no joke! It feels like we're being held to ransom though, because we've already been charged for the initial work they did and now our computer is sitting in bits (with them), so we could take it back and lose the money we've already paid and have a computer in pieces or wait until they properly fix it. Not much of a choice really. They assured me it would be ready on Saturday afternoon, but I've been hearing the same story for weeks. My parents are on their hols now though, so nobody can pick it up this week (I can't carry it by myself). So it'll be another week, I'm afraid. I thought I could try blogging a little in the meantime. I don't have my camera installed on my sisters laptop and both my camera memory cards are now full of photos I've taken in the past few weeks anyway-but I figured I could at least blog items that don't require 'real' phot...

New Birthday Shoes

Image
Posting may be a little erratic this weekend and early next week with my eBay sales and packaging them all up. Here's the link if you're interested (shoes size 5/38 or 6/39 FYI and tonnes of cosmetics too). Anyway, my birthday shoes arrived yesterday! I tried on a few pairs of Irregular Choice in Schuh the other week when my Mum was purchasing shoes for herself (not IC BTW). They mostly had size 6's out on the shelf and the blue 'Lucite Lovely' (really are lovely) were too big, so just take your regular size in them. I was so disappointed that they reduced the red pair in Schuh but not the blue-I'm definitely going to get them at some point because they're really pretty. 'I'm Bossy'-I thought the 6 were ok on me (I'm always worried that I need a bigger size for the strap across-it's a stud fastening, so it has to fit), but these were the pair I chose for my b'day and the 6 are slightly too big now that I have them home! I'v...

Irregular Choice Sale Watch

Image
Hi ladies, are you all organised for Christmas? I feel like I need another week to properly prepare, I really love the run-up to the big day and for various reasons I've missed that this year. Parcels have been turning up thick and fast though! These pre-Christmas sales are killing me, there's so many things I have my eye on. I've compiled a more easier to look at list of all the Irregular Choice shoes currently on sale for you (and for me to refer back to as well)! There are tonnes of markdowns on the official Irregular Choice site, which I haven't documented here, so check that out too. Schuh have a massive sale, as you can see below. The purple Bambi wedges £39.95 (above) are now sold out (there were 5's and 6's available earlier) and they were a pair I really liked. Remember Amazon and Viva La Diva also sell Schuh IC's, although sometimes you end up disappointed as their stock levels aren't updated as recently as the Schuh site (so in-stock item...
