Irregular Choice: 'Glissade' Ballerina Heels

Irregular Choice Glissade green ballerina heels back
Hello peeps, where do I even start with these shoes? Irregular Choice have been producing their 'statement heels' for a good few seasons now and aside from one, I've bought at least one pair from each release. Then came the news that they'd upped their game yet again with the ballerina heel. There's a tiny little ballet dancer (similar to those old cake toppers you used to get-I was ballet obsessed so had them on my birthday cake every single year), encased in a see-through wedge heel.

Oh Justin!

My sister and I have long laughed at the Backstreet Boys on Sesame Street video, singing with Elmo, it's pretty comical. What I hadn't realised until this week, was that NSync also appeared on the show. This has blown BSB right out of the water, this has to be the cheesiest, funniest thing I've seen in ages. I've watched it so many times now that I know all the hilarious parts without even looking (JC completely looking down the wrong camera-like he's reading the words, 'pineapple-head' Chris taking a very long breather in the build up to his part, the little boy next to Big Bird dancing out of time constantly and Justin being super excited to be there and looking like he's maybe 10 years old-so cute), he's so lucky we all have short memories and have forgotten the cheese he used to do. It's good cheese though, I miss that Justin!

I'm Still Here!

Sorry for the lack of posts over the past couple of days. I've just been feeling a bit down in the dumps and uninspired! I promised to get through the backlog of images, reviews, swatches etc that I have, but when it came down to it, my heart just wasn't it and I don't know why, because the material is pretty good and definitely worth writing about-it's just me being weird!

The snow seems to have put me out of my routine which is strange considering I'm pretty much housebound anyway. If I hear one more person complaining about how awful it is to be stuck indoors for "1 day" though, I'll strangle them! Try it for 8 1/2 years then get back to me! Anyway, I've been watching YouTube videos to cheer me up and did you see Backstreet Boys with NKOTB at the AMA's? In the words of Amanda from Ugly Betty, "I peed a little"! Seriously! I wasn't even a massive fan of BB back in the day, although I like some of their songs (mainly ballads and Everybody (Backstreet's Back) will always get me dancing) but in general boybands do it for me, as uncool as it is to say that, haha! Even at 30, I still get excited by a whoosh of fire and a row of guys dancing-why is that? Cliched boyband moves maybe, but you know what? Nobody does 'boyband' like true boybands! Legends!!

Christina Aguilera - You Lost Me

I'm absolutely in love with this song just now. Christina Aguilera has taken a lot of criticism lately and the Lady Gaga debate to be honest holds no weight. Christina was shocking us years ago and this song proves she is still at the top of her game. She is very lucky (and unique) that she can sing both up-tempo numbers and ballads extremely well. The previous single felt like maybe she was trying a bit too hard, but on You Lost Me, there's a softness and vulnerability to her voice and a real haunting feel-ooh I just love it!
