Hello my lovelies, today I'm talking handbags! I've been bag OBSESSED lately. I guess for years the bag trends weren't to my taste, but now I see loads I love and can't stop buying them. At this rate, I need a dedicated room for them , never mind my shoes ; )

So I'm supposed to be looking at shoes on the Sarenza site, but I notice a bag in the sale that I like, then spy another pretty bag and another....! We all know about my shoe obsession, but one that comes and goes is my bag obsession. Over the years I've gone through phases of buying handbags non-stop, then not liking any of the 'trends' and therefore buying none. Lately though, all I see is pretty bags!  You'll recall my Irregular Choice unicorn and cat bags . My first ' mid week must haves ' contained guess what? Two cute bags! However I keep finding more I want to share, so I've put together some of my favourites in this post and also how I'd style them.

I've always had a bit of a fascination with flamingo prints on clothing and accessories. Known for being kitsch, quirky and fun, it definitely appeals to my playful side. It's no surprise then that I'm captivated by the new Moschino Cheap & Chic collection , where the pink feathered birds take centre stage. In saying that, the collection is a little less 'in your face' than you'd expect, with fresh white and pastel shades, rather than a more traditional 'tropical' print. The birds feature these cute, dangling beaded legs, which give added movement and dimension to the clothes.  It's a really lovely touch.   It's well worth browsing that collection even if it's only to 'window shop' because every item is so wonderful, I'm in awe of it all. I can't take this no-money situation much longer, it feels like it's gone on forever ! The £80 I'm supposed to survive on (!) every 4 weeks is going straight to my Mum (I pay her more than that each month usually, so I'm in debt to her) and I'm left with nothing each week...each month...it sucks BIG time! I'd been eyeing this Cat Face Maxi Dress on ASOS which was thankfully out of stock in bigger sizes meaning I didn't have to torment myself too much. I'm a qualified stalker though (wish I got paid for that), so today they had an 18. Great....maybe. I had just enough money left in my account for it. So I've spent the last hour trying to justify it to myself, do I need it? Will it fit? Will I renew my Premier account which lapsed in December (well done me for not renewing before now) with it? Will it arrive when nobody is home, so I won't get 'caught'? Ah decisions, decisions! I'm pretty sure the cat will be distorted across ...

It feels like this 'no money' situation has lasted for months already and yet it's ' only ' been 6 weeks. It's no fun. Anyway I've been through the depression and gone cold-turkey, now I just want to compile wishlists of pretty things I can't afford! This little lot should get you in full-on Spring mode (although it's very chilly here today) and I would happily spend my pretend money on them all. First up are these adorable Classic Hardware deer, bunny and kitty rings £24.99 each and  matching pendants £35 each from Dollydagger. I absolutely love the vintage inspired imagery and my animal jewellery collection has remained pretty stagnant lately, so would love a boost. Next, I first wrote about these shoes back in... January , so I've been long time lusting after them! Now that the weather is maybe hopefully moving into Spring, these would make a nice addition to my wardrobe. I completely overspent in the run up to Christmas, more so than usual. My present shopping seems to follow the pattern of 'one for you, one for me' which as fun as that is, it's never a good thing for the old bank balance! I think the changes to my income this year (a LOT less money) has just hit me and so I need to seriously look at spending less (which would help if I didn't have an eye for expensive thangs)! Anyway, sale time was a no-buy zone for me, although I did allow myself the one purchase; something I'd been prepared to pay full price for but waited on the off-chance it would be reduced. A few days before Christmas and that was the case, lucky me! The shoes are called ' Sophie ' and are from Topshop. I first saw, well actually my Mum saw and pointed them out to me in the Dundee store when we'd popped in at the beginning of December.
