It's been a while since a Beauty Lately... post, though last night I checked back and thought "March 24th? That was just over a week ago, I thought it was longer since I posted". Then I realised, we're in May now! So more like 5 weeks. I've still been photographing bits for these posts, so hopefully I'll get back to regular posting and get caught up.

Beauty Lately is a selection of mini reviews on beauty products I've been using lately; good, bad or meh, I include them all! Sorry it's taken so long to finish this post, but my back 'went' the other week and I had to drop everything and rest until it was better.  It's completely back to normal now, so I'm happy to be standing up straight and walking again (crawling like a hunchback to the toilet is no fun!), so let's get straight into the beauty bits.

I'm back resurrecting a blog series from several years ago. I started Beauty Lately... in the summer of 2017 and I don't quite know why I never posted again, perhaps because the period that followed was filled with gallstone attacks (!) I don't know, but I want to reinstate it. If you didn't read my blog back then or can't quite recall the post, it's basically mini beauty reviews; good, bad or indifferent (skincare, makeup, fragrance, body, hair) that I'm currently using or have used lately. I have my next post almost ready to go and have used a few new things for the post after that, so let's get stuck into this one and I have 5 items for you today.

Beauty Lately...

So, a few weeks ago Mum and I went out for lunch (if an ice-cream sundae qualifies as a meal!) and I'm making a point of wearing makeup when I leave the house now (rare occasions, but I'll take that). I didn't have long to get ready but used a few new things and thought I'd share my thoughts, alongside some other new items I've been playing with.
