Soooo did you all manage to snag what you wanted from Pearl Lowe this morning? I was late in my bed last night (not through anything fun unfortunately) and then I couldn't sleep, so I woke up later than intended today. It was around 9.20am before I got on the internet and by then several sizes of the lace panel dress had gone. There were 11 left in my size, so I grabbed it and a couple of sale items from the last collection (was going to get a couple more but decided I couldn't afford it, even if they were cheap). I've been out of the house most of the day at the Boots Christmas event-spent an absolute fortune and loved it, completely in the mood for Christmas now! So I haven't had any time to do computer things and I'm trying to half watch X-Factor USA then have Southland at 9 (was sooooooo sad last week). I've got lots to blog about including these amazing new River Island Design Forum shoes. They photographed very well, so look forward to those pics. My MAC Marine Life High-Light Powder arrived today, which was quick (at least something good came out of paying more than retail for it!). It is stunning and I'm glad I don't have to worry about tracking it down-although my sister is going to Glasgow at the end of the month and if they still have it in stock then, I'll be spewing! Yesterday I went shopping and it proved a rather unsuccessful trip. I went to Boots to look at the No7 Decades collection in person (and to use another £5 voucher), however there were lots of spaces and I felt rather underwhelmed by it all. So, I went shopping on Monday, having not been outdoors for almost 2 weeks. I wasn't going to spend money, just to browse and 'get out'. I decided it would be easiest going to Matalan and TkMaxx , rather than the town centre where temptation is all around! I actually did pretty good. I bought two necklaces, one of which is to wear as bridesmaid at my mates wedding. We had been on the lookout for something and this seems to fit the bill. My Mum wanted to look at the household stuff in TkMaxx and (I think this may be my first ever post about furniture), I saw this chair, that I really, really liked. So much so, that I wouldn't let go of it. I wrapped my hand tightly around the leg, just incase someone should steal it from under my nose. It would go perfectly in my bedroom I thought, which is mostly pale pink. I would love it to sit infront of my unit for putting my makeup on.
