Irregular Choice: Scarves & Rings

Image
In the second part of my Irregular Choice accessories post, I'll be showing you some of the recent scarf and rings. You can find my first post on tights and socks here . I've been buying IC scarves for a while and have amassed quite the collection now. Although I wear them a lot, I wouldn't consider myself a "scarf person".  You know those people that always have a scarf draped around their neck? That's definitely not me or my style, yet I am using them regularly (I know what I mean in my head, just not sure I'm articulating it properly)!  Despite them being quite thin, they can really warm you up on cooler days in or outdoors.  Sometimes when I've got my jumper on and my blanket on and I'm still freezing, I've wrapped one of these around me as a shawl too.  I also wear them on my head.  You know I'm very fond of a headwrap and these are great to use for that as they are so big.  I'm trying to think of something that they are a sim...

The Major Primark Haul

Image
Last week I went on a mission. There's usually a stand-out dress every season in Primark and normally I struggle to find it in my local store. I'd spotted this tartan dress (below), clearly inspired by Saint Laurent, months ago and knew I had to have it. I was dubious if my local would ever get it though. Once I knew a rough idea of when it was due instore, I contacted my friend who kept an eye out for me at the Edinburgh store. She said they would get it before my local as it's a massive shop. Rather than wait all that time, then miss out on it, I decided it would be easier to go to Edinburgh myself. Now, I'm here to talk about clothes, but a 'quick trip' to Edinburgh isn't really an easy or cheap thing for me even although it isn't too far away. Despite being in the capital almost every weekend in my Uni days, I've only been a handful of times in the 11 years I've been ill (and several of them were for mandatory bridesmaid dress fittin...

Topshop Horse Necklace

Image
My Topshop horse necklace arrived today! It's just as gorgeous as I'd remembered. Like I said in my original post , the image on the site doesn't show the 3-dimensional aspect of the horse to it's best. I snapped some quick photos on my phone when it arrived. Hopefully you can see what I was talking about with the complete half horse body and head sticking out from the wings. It's rather heavy! This is it fastened quite short, it can hang longer than this. Good news is, Topshop have extended their free delivery until the end of Friday (2nd August), so you could have this pretty pony delivered to your home for free! To take advantage simply enter the code FREE4ALL at checkout and that's for both UK and international orders. This post contains affiliate links, which when clicked through and purchased from, can earn this blog a small commission. By doing so, you are helping fund the blog, all opinions are still my own and I was not paid to write t...

Irregular Choice 'Endangered' Panda Boots

Image
I'm convinced today is Friday and thought this would be the perfect 'end of the working week for some' post. However it's only Thursday ( man this week has been slow), but who cares, it's shoes! Not just any shoes, sparkly, weird shaped, double soled, panda boots!! I first saw these here in white, a million months ago and thought "WOW-zers". I like the white even more than the black actually, but the black are for sale and the white aren't and it's doubtful they ever will be produced, so I'll take what I can! On the Irregular Choice website there was initially one size of each Endangered bootie and I stalked the hell out of them; refusing to be naughty and transfer money from my ISA for them (which I've been doing all too often lately) as I didn't have a spare £150 lying around. I dug into the depths of my shoe collection and eBayed as much as I could (by the way plu-plug, I have loads of new stuff up just now ending this weeken...
