Irregular Choice x Care Bears: Hug It Out Clutch

Image
Post contains no affiliate links or PR items. My sister has a lot of these Irregular Choice clutch bags, but I ordered this on launch day unsure of whether I wanted to keep it for myself or not! I realised when it arrived that as much as I loved it, it was more her than me, so she got it.

Irregular Choice Collection: Pouches

Image
Hello, I hope you're all well just now.  The weeks have been flying by lately and I've not been very productive, but I hadn't realised my last bag collection post was in January. I do recall not having photos ready, so took these in March/April, but it's taken me a while to feel up to tackling them.  I'm not sure which style to work on next, there's a fair few bags on my wishlist this season (understatement) that I haven't gotten yet, so I don't want to take photos before I'm sure my collection won't be updated again!  There's a surprising amount of photos in this post (just under 50) considering I don't actually have loads of this style, so I'll try and keep the words to a minimum (but it's me, so you know I struggle with that)!

Danielle Nicole: Disney Handbags

Image
If you follow my Instagram , you'll probably be aware I began collecting Danielle Nicole x Disney handbags last year, when they first launched in the UK. As well as making 'regular' bags, accessories and jewellery, Danielle has the most wonderful (officially licensed) Disney range. You know I'm a long time fan of the novelty handbag and they don't get much more fun than these. Princess heads (my favourite) or other Disney characters adorn these cute bags and I've built up quite the collection already, so thought I'd share them with you.

Irregular Choice: Bag Collection

Now that I'm back to regular blogging, my weekly Irregular Choice posts have returned! It's been a few weeks, so I thought I'd better come up with a corker of a photo for you! I actually bought two handbags from the new SS16 range which arrived this week, but I haven't had the chance to edit the photos yet, so I'll review one of those next week for you. In the meantime, I've been desperate for a photo of all my IC bags together.

SkinnyDip Unicorn Tears Bag

So much for a more organised week, it's been very hectic so far and I've fallen behind with everything . I'm aiming to catch up tomorrow, but massive apologies for neglecting you all and my complete lack of blog commenting (I've missed reading what you're up to, so will get up to date this weekend). Anyways, I promised 'proper' photos of my SkinnyDip Unicorn Tears bag £28 and the reason I'm posting today, is because it's back in stock. Yes, go, go, go! It went quickly last time, so if you really want it, then don't dally.

Haul & Preview: New Look Novelty Clutches

Image
I didn't make any resolutions this year, but I could resolve to fix my blog 'pending' post pile! I photographed these bags back in November and the photos have been sitting in a folder ever since. Not very productive.  I'm pretty sure I even wrote in my diary a few times to post them, but I didn't even start editing never mind writing. No more! I must make an effort to post ALL of these 'forgotten' folders of photos. How do you fancy some (May) birthday photos in February and Christmas gifts in April? FOTD and reviews from 2011? Don't laugh, it could happen!

Haul: Love Moschino Charming Clutch Bags

Image
I hadn't realised it had been so long since my last post, sorry folks!  Same old story, unwell again, definitely getting bored of telling that one!  I'm not mad on the prospect of 2015 going the same way as 2014, so send your positive healthy vibes my way please.  Anyway, I just have to continue doing what I can, when I can and I have loads of brilliant posts coming up over the next few weeks.  Starting with this Love Moschino handbag haul.

Bought & Thought

Yo, yo, yo, prettiest unicorn on the planet here! At least that is what my human Mummy calls me (usually followed with "yes you are, yes you are"), she says you'll all be mimicking the voice she does at that point. I don't say much back, for fear of bursting my stitches, but I can see how much I mean to her.  She says there's no way anyone will fit all their crap in here, not sure I like the sound of that, but then she does that loving, drooling look and everything is good again.  Mum says you'll meet my brother soon.  He's kinda mysterious, all glossy black with a gold mane.  Don't tell him this, but Mummy prefers me to him, I can just tell.  Plus I change from blue to pink depending on the light, pretty cool huh?  She says you'll want to know that you can buy me from ASOS here and New Look here  for £12.99 and that everyone needs one.  She even has a 20% off code for all full price items at ASOS that she wants to share with you, because she...

New Look: Novelty Clutch Bags

Image
Hello my lovelies, today I'm talking handbags! I've been bag OBSESSED lately. I guess for years the bag trends weren't to my taste, but now I see loads I love and can't stop buying them. At this rate, I need a dedicated room for them , never mind my shoes ; )

Mid Week Must Haves

Image
I can't believe it's the third day of my new routine and I'm so far sticking to it, ticking off what I have to do each day.  Just shows how much you can get done when you are focused!  So this is another new feature and it's pretty self explanatory.  They aren't exactly must must haves, I mean we aren't going to die without them are we? However for alliteration purposes 'must' sounded better than anything else! It's aimed as a mid-week 'pick me up' really and will include two items, one from the high street and one designer. They will be loosely themed (as in 'shoes', 'dress' etc) but are not intended to be 'dupes' or replicas of each other. They are just two bags I thought were cute! Talking Bags

I love it when I happen upon two similar items at exactly the same time that are opposite ends of the scale in terms of price. Take the speech bubble clutch bag above and below by Sophia Webster at Net-a-Porter (online exclusive). The fun sentiment appealed to me (Sophia has several variations of this style) and although it wouldn't hold much, it's a wear with anything kinda bag. Then I saw these new clutches at ASOS and did a double take. Ok, so they are a box clutch rather than speech bubble shaped and I'm in no way suggesting the quality is similar, but it's nice to have an alternative for when you can't afford to splash out. They still have that fun appeal and the catchphrases in bubbles. You can choose between the coral spotty, OMG! (my favourite) or the pink striped Shhh . The ASOS clutches are £28 each while the SW one is £340. The ASOS clutches are in the same shape as the faux-book clutches they had. I bought a green one (below) last year ...

I have a thing for shell shaped items, which probably stems from my fascination with mermaids and sea-horses. I reckon Accessorize always have a stand out clutch each season that could easily be mistaken for the hot new designer, red-carpet, 'it' bag-and I think this may be it. Isn't it glorious and perfect for all those summer weddings? I'm also partial to a hard clutch bag, so this shiny, gold one definitely gets thumbs up from me. £32 Accessorize .

My fascination and love for all things mermaid includes beautiful shell shaped items. This clutch features a gorgeous shell clasp closure and the textural detail and soft, neutral colours really add to the theme . I can certainly see Ariel storing her treasures in this. £34.99 River Island .
