Day 26 #BeRealMarch

I have no idea what that tiny red spot is next to my nose...I can't really see it in the mirror! Made all the more obvious by the white patch because I'd just taken my glasses off. Isn't it strange how some things are amplified in photos and others become less noticeable? Anyway, I can't really think what to say today! As much as I'll miss these posts, some days I'm winging it and waffling! BeRealMarch selfie
Actually that's why I've been avoiding my personal Facebook lately. I used to hate people that logged in, had a nosey then logged back out without doing anything. However I've become one of those people! Oh the shame! It's hard though, I don't go anywhere or see anything or do anything, so I have nothing worthwhile or relevant to discuss.  I mean I could talk about shoes all day long, like I do here, but they already think I'm nuttier than a Snickers, so I think that would elevate that status! Everyone is so busy with their own lives and sometimes it's a bit like rubbing salt into the wounds reading all that, y'know?  Conversely listening to someone complain about the fact they haven't been outside for at least 2 hours (!) because they have a terrible cold or something similar, makes me want to shake them until they fall into the real world! So yeah instead, I secret-stalk and post a shoe photo once in a while to let everyone know I'm still alive (and as nutty as ever) and to try and keep things happy and non-moany. I do feel like I'm segregating myself from my friends and we're drifting apart more and more, but we have very little in common nowadays. Their priorities are mortgages and partners and pregnancies and I'm just trying to work out when I have the energy to shower or how long it'll be before I'm able to walk again.  Kinda sad. Hey ho, I've managed to fill another post with rubbish* (*actually I rather enjoy discussing these random topics).  See you tomorrow x

  1. I'm usually on facebook only to talk to uni friends about uni or to look at animal photos and videos so I don't find that strange at all. I've been sick since Monday and tomorrow it's my first day back at work and also outside (I was going to go on a walk this evening but it's raining and way too dark already) and I know even just four days being inside only has driven me a bit batty so I can't imagine what you are going through.

    1. Hope you're feeling better. Oh that doesn't make me feel so bad then. I have quite a lot of family on my FB along with old school friends and my Uni mates. I much prefer my blog FB though and use that more regularly.

  2. I enjoy the random chatter! I feel like I'm having a natter with a good friend! Yes, I really am not in contact with any old friends from school or anything, not sure what I'd talk about!x

    1. It has been nice! I'm glad it's not just me then in regards to FB. I use my blog FB more regularly than my personal one. My cousin says she always does the "would you talk to them if you saw them in Tesco?" thing in order to judge whether or not to accept their friend request! For the most part I do only accept real friends, but I think that's all the more sad that I have nothing to say to them.

    2. Dare I say that I'm not actually on Facebook? Blogging is my only social media!!!x
