I love it when I happen upon two similar items at exactly the same time that are opposite ends of the scale in terms of price. Take the speech bubble clutch bag above and below by Sophia Webster at Net-a-Porter (online exclusive). The fun sentiment appealed to me (Sophia has several variations of this style) and although it wouldn't hold much, it's a wear with anything kinda bag. Then I saw these new clutches at ASOS and did a double take. Ok, so they are a box clutch rather than speech bubble shaped and I'm in no way suggesting the quality is similar, but it's nice to have an alternative for when you can't afford to splash out. They still have that fun appeal and the catchphrases in bubbles. You can choose between the coral spotty, OMG! (my favourite) or the pink striped Shhh . The ASOS clutches are £28 each while the SW one is £340. The ASOS clutches are in the same shape as the faux-book clutches they had. I bought a green one (below) last year ...

Good news for fans of platform peep-toes. I've found 3 very similar and equally gorgeous styles recently at prices to suit any budget. First up are gold glitter Miu Miu's at NetaPorter , £320. These have a 5" heel and 1" platform and black velvet bow. Then we have these new Faith 'Corgeous' shoes, available in aubergine or bronze, they have a reptile like pattern and the same platform/peep toe front with bow. They are £75 and have a 4.5" heel. Lastly, these Panther shoes at Schuh £59.99-much more stunning in the flesh than the online picture. There was a whole lot of squealing when I spotted them a few months ago in my local! Due to their popularity they have been released in gold, cobalt blue, nude, pink snakeskin and black as well as other variations (boots and gladiators). They have a 5 1/2" heel and 1 1/2" platform. Which pair will you choose?

Don't you just love new season shoes? I'm going gaga over these Miss Clichy 140 boots by Christian Louboutin £895, I simply adore the print. These Ronda Dina 140 lace shoes £660 are gorgeous too, I predict they will be well worn on the red-carpet. Finally, check out these Giuseppe Zanotti boots £565 , a little bit punk and a whole lotta cool. All available from NetaPorter . P.S. Sammy is still hanging on...although I think he's maybe shedding his skin or something equally gross, as he's contorted into an awkward position now. Euch!

Eeeeek, I'm loving Charlotte Olympia shoes . With every new season, the styles just get better and better. I would sell my Grandmother (sorry Granny), for a pair. You have to click the images of these Maxine platforms to see them in all their glory. Why do they look even more amazing, the bigger the picture? LOL I'm even more excited by the fact that they are in the sale on Net-a-Porter . However, even with a whopping 40% off at £279 (from £465), they are still way out of my league. Now let me go and drool over the kitsch Greta pair again.
