I've kind of fallen in love with these half shoe-boot things. They're a beautiful shape even without the cut out section, although that just adds interest. The slender heel mixed with tyre-track soles, plush velvet and fashionable buckle all contrast yet compliment each other. The velvet is luscious and it's rich jewel toned shade is luxurious rather than tacky unlike the large selection of crushed velvet skirts, leggings, dresses and jackets in Primark yesterday. OMG, I nearly died when I saw them. That is one trend that should stay buried in my opinion; I felt like I had time travelled to an 80's tarot readers caravan!! Feeling Velvet
