Festive Beauty: Day 7

Yesterday we took a look at the Northern Lights inspired 2012 collection by YSL and today I have a very strange looking lipgloss from last year. Remember to read to the bottom of the post for my online offer and I've already posted my Irregular Choice Festive Footwear over on The Shoe Girl Diaries.
This is the Givenchy L'Interdit Lip Top Coat in Sparkling Night. Whenever I laid eyes on this last year, I knew I had to have it, it's just so weird! Givenchy say, "for its 2020 Holiday Collection, Nicolas Degennes has imagined a surprising gloss to be applied alone on bare lips or as a top coat over your lipstick. It embellishes the lips with a subtle and brilliant veil of shimmering colour, to intensify and perfect your festive look. One-of-a-kind, it will add a new dimension to your natural lip colour or your lipstick. Its supple, non-sticky texture with incomparable glide, unifies and smooths the lips. A super-soft finish that combines mother-of-pearl and black rose oil for comfortable and long-lasting colour".
I just had to take as many photos from different angles as I could, so you could see the amazing textures and colours in this. It's a greyish purple, silver, hint of black, bit of a gold, sometimes green and lilac sheen combo!
Likewise the swatches change depending on the light. I couldn't find this gloss today as I wanted to familiarise myself with it (these photos were taken last year when I bought it), but you can see how beautiful those glitters are and I do recall it being as smooth as Givenchy claim it to be.
Like the Arctic Blue gloss yesterday, I do love something a bit different from the usual colours at this time of year and in 2020, this was definitely it.
Your treat for today is a FREE stocking filler set from Ciate (add item to bag and use code GIFT when you spend £40 or more). Set contains, full size Mango & Lime Lip Oil and deluxe Watermelon Hydrating Primer, worth £22.
