A much shorter read today for Festive Beauty after my colossal Too Faced 2019 gingerbread collection yesterday. My Irregular Choice Festive Footwear will be up later, yesterday I kept it gingerbread themed with Ginger's House ankle boots. As usual, read to the bottom for a little treat.
Natasha Denona Mini Metropolis Eyeshadow Palette
Natasha Denona is a brand I've just started buying from in the past year or so. The moment I saw this eye palette, I knew I had to have it. It is all about that green shade in the centre for me, so festive! It's from this Christmas and is the Holiday Exclusive, Mini Metropolis Eyeshadow Palette and Eyeshadow Brush Gift.

Based on the Metropolis 28 pan palette and inspired by the colours of New York, this mini version includes 3 existing shades (from the full-size version) and 2 new ones.

Blaze is a high-shine, rich gold, which blew me away when I swatched it. Rope is a matte yellow beige and Jubilee is that vibrant teal, which ND describe as metallic. The new shades are Bole, a deep brown and Corrode, which ND describe as "rusty medium brown", which I think is way-off. I'd personally say a milky beige in the pan and warmer when swatched, but definitely no rust and light rather than medium.

Apologies for the sporadic glitters in the mattes, I'd previously swatched something else which left me sparkling! These swatches are dry, no primer and one swipe. I wanted to see how impressive they were and they were, very! I attempted a look with this palette recently and failed miserably, I'm hopeless at doing makeup as it's been so long since I've worn it. After removing it all and choosing something else, I did end up using the darkest brown (Bole) on my eyebrows. It's far too dark for me to pull off on my eyes, but it was perfect on my brows.  The swatches speak for themselves, you can see how pigmented they are and Blaze is just blinding.

Also included in the set is a Medium Blending Eyeshadow Brush.  I haven't used it yet, but it looks to be a nice quality brush.  I love that it's dark green with subtle sparkles upon close inspection.
