Beauty Advent Calendars 2021: Paul & Joe and Barry M Part 2

Here's my second part of the advent calendar reveals (you can find Part 1 here), days 9-16 for Paul & Joe and as I'm opening the Barry M one every second day (it's a 12 day advent), days 5-8. We'll begin with the Paul & Joe Makeup Collection 2021, Day 9, which were these adorable cat shaped hair clips. They have Paul & Joe written on one side and cat whiskers on the other. I was really excited to get these as it's quite a unique item, something that isn't sold separately here.

Day 10; Hand Cream (14ml). I used to use their hand cream in the tin and then bought loads of the gingerbread cookie scented ones last year (which smell like chocolate to me). They have a few different formulas, but I've loved every one I've tried.

Day 11 came with a note that this item was to be used with Day 12. It's a Lipstick Case, Limited 007. It's one of their card cases in a beautiful berry floral print.

Day 12 was a Pearl Lipstick 002 to fit into the floral case. I can't bring myself to swatch it yet...I need time to enjoy it's perfect, little cat face! You can see the gold shimmers if you look closely, it looks to be a peachy pink shade.

I've been keeping all my treats inside the makeup bag from Day 1, so was pretty pleased to see a little drawstring pouch for Day 13. I remember this print from a few years ago, it's adorable as there's little grey kittens and lambs hidden in the floral border. It's lined and I love that they placed a floral print on the inside of the top of the bag, so when it's pulled closed, it looks pretty. I can't fault P&J aesthetics.

Day 14; Cleansing Gel (9.8ml). I believe we got this in the 2019 calendar, I can't remember whether I liked it or not.

Day 15; Body Oil (18ml). This was in the 2019 one and I liked it.

The final one for now, today, Day 16; Foundation Primer Limited 002, Makeup Base Serum (10ml). I checked back and we got this last time, I haven't used it yet though!

In the Barry M one, you get a full size Nail Paint every day. Day 5; Hi Vis Neon Nail Paint in Yellow Flash (HVNP5). I've never tried their neon polish before. Although it's not very Christmassy, I do feel like my collection has been missing a bright yellow for years, so I'm intrigued to see how this one turns out. No shimmer or pearl in this one.

Day 6; Limited Edition in Strawberry Whip (GNP81). Again no shimmer or pearl, a bit of an odd name for this one as I find it a purpley pink. I'd be more inclined to call it raspberry something rather than strawberry. It was impossible to photograph accurately!

Day 7; Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Acai Smoothie (GNP46), a dusky purple/mauve, again no shimmer. I've tried 2 of their Gelly's, hated one, it was useless and needed about a hundred coats to show up, the other darker shade was better. Judging from the shade number, I'm guessing the strawberry one is also a Gelly formula?

Last day for now, Day 8; Limited Edition in Super Smoothie (GNP84), so another Gelly one? It's a teal green shade, rather than a festive green. I like it, I'm wanting more shimmers and sparkles in the next batch though!
