Festive Beauty: Day 19

I'm going to continue my Festive Beauty posts until the end of the month seeing as I intended to do 24 (until Christmas), but missed some last week. My last post was the Laneige skincare set from their 2021 Dream Land Collection and today I have an old MAC holiday launch. I think I told you about these photos previously, that I took them, then later that day thought the packaging seemed familiar in lipstick form (I'd only photographed glosses). I quickly found the lipstick and had to retake them to include that! Group shots of anything will be the death of me! My Irregular Choice Festive Footwear will be up later and I have my final advent calendar reveals too, which I'll hopefully get up here tomorrow.
This is the 2011 MAC Glitter & Ice Collection. The products came in silver mirrored boxes with high shine white and silver packaging. Although very different to the regular MAC packaging (and I have to admit I'm always a fan of their limited edition super shiny, smooth finish), it's not particularly fancy or overly festive for a holiday release. The colours in this collection very much had that icy feel though with flashes of brighter pink.
First is the Beauty Powder in Snowglobe. I think their BP's can be used in multiple ways, certainly this one isn't overly sparkly or shiny for a highlight, but wearable as a glowing powder. I have swatches of everything at the end. My favourite thing MAC do when they use this shiny packaging are these compacts. I could sit and play with it for hours! It's so soothing to stroke and the clicky noise they make when you close them...I love it.
The lipstick I got was Double Spin, a Cremesheen (my favourite finish), again the clicking noise is soothing music to my ears.
The glosses in this collection were Dazzleglass and I love both of these. Glitter And Ice and the more mauve one is Dressed To Dazzle.
The swatches from left to right are Snowglobe, Double Spin, Dressed To Dazzle and Glitter And Ice.
