Festive Beauty 2022: Day 1

This is the Face Powder (Opalescent) in Here Comes Joy. I wish I had more to show you from this launch, but unfortunately this is all I got. I think it was a time when I hadn't been paying as close attention to MAC, but by the time I realised I wanted all of this collection, it had gone. I know a lot of people cite this as one of their favourite MAC Christmas releases.

The snowflake engraving on the powders and eyeshadows is absolutely beautiful and the pale gold and silver glitzy compact is so festive. This powder is described as peachy gold with shimmer and there was another shade. However, it's the embossing on the Extra Dimension Skinfinish that I love even more. It's base isn't flat like here, it's faceted with the snowflake sitting on top rather than into the powder like here, ooh how I wish I'd got that one.
