So the new Pearl Lowe range at Peacocks arrived this morning and what do you think? I haven't yet placed an order because I'm a little underwhelmed and unsure of what to purchase. I do like the shapes and colours, but there's something lacking, that excitement of the previous styles. You know I'm a huge fan of the range but I ended up having to send back the dresses I bought last time, because the fit and quality for me, wasn't up to scratch. Judging from the images on the website, the quality is yet again questionable and this upsets me, because it seems to have dwindled from the first couple of ranges and just ended up as everything being polyester. Here's a run-through of the collection... My favourite piece without a doubt is the crochet collar dress, £40. It was the one I was most looking forward to from the previews and although the quality doesn't look as good as I was expecting, I think I'll still purchase this. It screams Pearl Lowe to...

It's No7 voucher time again at Boots and I had four to spend. Last week I used them on lipsticks and got 4 more vouchers in return (you only have to spend a fiver to get them)! So it was back to square one. I was going to purchase more things at the time, but the lady was rather rude and said 'there's your vouchers for another day, we're not going through that again'-just because you have to use each voucher in a separate sale (gosh, what are they paying her for then?). It wasn't even busy, but some cow was already huffing and puffing behind me until someone shouted 'can I take anyone over here' and she yelled 'YES' very loudly in my ear! Well, I'm not apologising for buying 4 bloody lipsticks at one time without going to the end of the queue each time! Anyhow, I always tend to leave the vouchers until the last minute, much to the annoyance of my sister (who usually buys the items for me) and I mostly get my regulars like concealer, eye ...

Had a bit of a mixed day today with good and bad news, will tell you when I have more time. I've spent 11 of those No7 vouchers in the past week, so I have swatches etc of what I bought if you need some inspiration for spending yours. I've run out of time again today, so it will have to be tomorrow. These Vivienne Westwood 'Lady Dragon' slingbacks arrived a couple of weeks ago. I decided I didn't need them, then reversed my thinking and when they arrived it was definitely the best choice because the colour is amazing. Plus they are super metallic and change under the lights, just gorgeous! I'm desperate to wear them, but am strictly choosing Irregular Choice for my feet this month .

I want these babies soooo bad! Perhaps not what you'd instantly consider my type of thing, but I fell in love with them, the second I saw them. They are called 'Toad In The Hole' (adorable name as per usual) and what I didn't know from the preview pics was, they are furry lined with sheepskin (do I hear practical and cosy winter boots?) and also have a zip in the inside leg, so you don't have to unlace/lace them up every time. If that hasn't already sold them to you, rumour has it Paloma Faith has already snagged herself a pair (we really need to start sharing shoes because our footwear styles are identical and it would save us some dosh or knowing me, we'd spend the same but own twice as much!!). Available now on the IC site at £249 and no, I don't even have the £49 never mind another couple of hundred : (
