Flashback Beauty Friday 29: Givenchy Pop Gloss Crystal 421 Golden Chantilly

Sorry it's only been Flashback Beauty Friday posts lately. I've not always been in the mood for blogging and I don't like forcing it when I'm feeling like that, because it just feels a bit disingenuous when I'm making myself do it rather than enjoying it. Nothing's happened, I've just been in a bit of a funk. I do enjoy these posts though for the nostalgia. This week was hard, I couldn't quite remember the details and there's very little information on this gloss online (it's almost as if we didn't have the internet back then)! Last week, if you missed it, was the very cool BeneFit foundation in a vinyl record style compact.

This week, I have the Givenchy Pop Gloss Crystal in 421 Golden Chantilly. I've since thrown out the box, so only had the shade number on the base and it's been a nightmare just trying to find the name. It was limited edition, I remembered that and came with this beautiful lace design over the tube (which it doesn't usually).

This is honestly one of my favourite glosses, it takes my breath away with how pretty it is. Sticky and sparkly, but utterly gorgeous. The swatches don't do it justice, it's so twinkly and stunning in real life.

I recall this being from a Christmas release...2006 or 2010 comes to mind. It might be as far back as 2006. It's still like it's new and I still use it!

It's called Golden Chantilly and looks palest gold here, there's actually a pink sheen to it, so it's more a pink-champagne colour. It comes with a slanted doe foot applicator. Anyone else remember this?
