These Topshop (Lillie) shoes are so gorgeous they've been my Inspiretty twice!  This isn't a stock photo though, it's the real deal and I also bought them in black too.  I've said it before "if Christmas were a shoe, this would be it"!

I bought my festive little Harajuku girl a wee while ago and I have to say it's actually one of my favourite fragrances of the lot. I bought her purely because I've purchased all the other girls and I just love the bottle designs (and buy them all regardless of whether I like the scent or not). Jingle G comes in a very small 10ml which I'm sure to finish soon and has a velvet ribbon through her head, to hang on your tree (I decided to hang mine in my room). She's mega cute with little metallic lips and her Santa outfit : )

I've always had a soft spot for Christina Hendricks, long before Mad Men elevated her profile. I remember her as Abby's battered neighbour in ER, in Kevin Hill and the rather hilarious episode of Without A Trace where she played an agoraphobic lesbian! Her body shape is quite similar to mine, essentially hourglass but with really big boobs and I always knew she was capable of the sex bomb status she has now. I also think she has a huge amount of pressure on her these days as the unofficial pin-up for 'fat' ladies everywhere and I think she handles it extremely well, she doesn't strike me as the type to succumb to any kind of pressure to lose weight and quite rightly as she doesn't need to. I could talk about her all day actually, I just think she rocks and I get super protective and defensive of her when I hear sickos calling her fat and ugly. Clearly they've never seen this image, truly inspiretty!

If you're still searching for a more affordable version of the Louboutin Daffodil, then I think these are the answer.  The 'Supreme' platforms took my breath away when I spotted them on the Topshop site this morning.  They come in black or nude (which looks slightly distressed to me), have a similar exaggerated concealed platform with centre seam and the same heel height; to split hair's it's maybe a little wider at the top than the real deal but I reckon it's the closest match you'll find and that I've seen, minus the red sole of course.  I think I'll be popping these on my wish-list although I don't reckon they'll hang around for long at £88.

I always feel like a bit of a blaw if I use a self-portrait for Inspiretty and anyone that knows me would say, I'm more the type to poke fun at myself than blow my own trumpet! However, this hat is indeed my Inspiretty today as modelled by moi. I went shopping last week for a winter coat and came back without but with lots of hats and gloves. I'm very lucky that I suit most hats (aside from beanies which bugs me), but I really didn't think this little fur one would look right on me or flatter my face shape. I was so wrong, I fell in love with it the moment I tried it on instore, so grabbed the last one and bought it in brown too! It's so simple and chic but cosy. I can see this being my new go-to hat for all occasions and will add different brooches to keep it fresh.

I don't usually post Inspiretty over the weekend, however I didn't quite finish during the week. If money were no object (and I could comfortably fit a designer size 16 or below) then this D&G layered tulle dress would absolutely be my holiday gown, it's glorious. It's got that whole ice queen vibe going on and I'd throw a little marabou feather cape over it. If you reckon you fit either of the criteria and adore this too, then head over to Net-a-Porter where it'll set you back £930, wow!

Here's another beautiful image of Merida from the Disney/Pixar 'Brave', coming out next summer. As a film set in Scotland I thought I'd enlighten you on some Scottish phrases or words-they vary depending on where you live and I've travelled up North and not understood a word they're saying and can even struggle in Glasgow (they just talk too fast for me). Actually you only have to go over the water from Fife to Dundee and they have a whole other language! A good example is my friend from Elgin, who used to call girls 'quines' and boys 'loons' which was all new to me! I do use words like 'glaikit' (glay like 'clay') meaning geeky/goofy, drookit ("say what you see" as the Catchphrase man used to say) this means soaked i.e. I got caught in the rain and was drookit. A 'close' which I tend to say as 'close-y' is an alley/sidestreet, boke (I use this a lot) said 'bow-k' means vomit/spew/barf and yo...

Disney/Pixar have a new movie coming out next summer called Brave and it's set in the rugged Highlands of Scotland-how cool? Red-haired girls will rejoice at the sight of the gorgeous Merida with her beautiful, flowing ginger locks. I think she looks so pretty, even if it adds to the stereotype that all Scottish people wear tartan, have red hair and freckles, live in castles and spend their day running around the hills-probably chasing haggis to the sound of bagpipes! To burst that romantic and rather antiquated bubble, modern Scotland is just like anywhere else; all ethnicity's-skin and hair colours possible, including the pink, turquoise or whatever colour haired me! We like fashion; some of the top designers are Scottish (Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders) and there's an abundance of us fashion bloggers too. Day to day, we rarely wear tartan (mostly men in kilts for weddings/special occasions), we have Topshop, Primark, Starbucks and McDonalds like anywhere else....

I'm just going to bombard you with Night Walk images until you get bored, if you get bored! Just a little note with these to say that some of you may not be aware of my other blog The Shoe Girl Diaries where I document my outfit and more importantly the shoes (lots of images like this one) that I'm wearing each day (yes today it was the JC's!!) I don't always manage to post on Pink Haired Princess daily and usually that's because I've been busy with TSGD (it can be a challenge to juggle them both). So if I haven't managed to write anything here for a couple of days, pop over to my other blog for a quick fashion fix and leave some comments, you're all very welcome!

So they arrived last night-the gorgeous new addition to my collection and my third Jeffrey Campbell pair in a matter of weeks (does this truly make me a JC Girl now?). I'm over the moon with my 'Night Walk', heel-less, platform mary-janes. Simple, bold and striking.

I'm going to name this Jeffrey Campbell week, seeing as my floral tapestry Lita arrived today (above) and I paid the customs charges on my Night Walk at the weekend and they will be delivered tomorrow! I'm rather nervous about their arrival, they've cost a lot and I'm worried they won't fit properly or won't live up to my expectations. Hopefully they will and hopefully the little frosty snowfall we had today will go away so I can wear them!

Em hello, did somebody say Christmas? I don't think I've ever quite seen a pair of shoes that embody the festive season as much as these, without being tacky. Rich colours, kooky berry detail, chunky heel and sturdy platform (for comfortable and steady party feet)! I'm in love with them. Sadly Topshop have sold out online, but perhaps your local will have a pair. I think they are gorgeous!!

These are the types of pics that could make me cry; massive fashion moments or the Beckham kids with their parents (seriously got teary eyed over Cruz cuddling his Daddy on tv last night, it was just sooo sweet)! Anyway back to the pic in question, Lady Gaga has opened a store/museum type thing in Barneys NY, a wee pop-up shop. She arrived in this incredible creation. Never in my life have I seen such Chanel awesome-ness. Outstanding! images

Finally some new Lita boots by Jeffrey Campbell. I spotted a blue-ish purpley pair like this on Solestruck today, but they are shorter and I wasn't so keen on them. However this pretty black pair look wicked.

Then there are these tweed Night Walk shoes by Jeffrey Campbell. I adore these, they're so prim and proper but with a wicked streak! Love it.

I'm sure you know how it is...you see a shoe you like, you want it, then you start checking out more and more photos of them until you're at the point of obsession . That's what I've been like this past week or so with the Jeffrey Campbell 'Night Walk' heel-less shoes and their sister style the 'Walk Tall' boot. After dipping my toes (literally) into JC lately, I can completely understand why girls (and guys) become so caught up with the brand. Unfortunately it's not so easy to just buy the style you like in the UK and it can work out quite expensive when you take into account shipping charges and customs. However I couldn't resist these babies any longer and have pre-ordered the black suede version from Solestruck. Today I found these though...black and white check, apparently Solestruck are getting these in, so keep your eyes peeled, they are absolutely killin' it!!

How freaking' fabulous is this parasol? I saw these pics of Lady Gaga out and about in London at the weekend and the first thing you'll probably notice is the earrings...yep, that's not a black collar on her orange outfit! Then the beautiful parasol, which has mermaids and pretty scenes all over it and a magnificent carved mermaid handle (my fave bit). Love it, well worthy of inspiretty! Nice nails too.

The X-Factor 'style wars' haven't quite been the same for me this year (although Dannii won hands down every other year for me anyway). I'm not saying I don't like what Kelly and Tulisa are wearing, it just doesn't get me as excited. That was until a few weeks ago when Tulisa wore this shimmering green Dolce & Gabbana frock. I was completely mesmerized by it. It was the colour that grabbed my attention mainly, absolutely stunning and beautiful. I kept saying out loud, 'oh isn't it lovely', 'I love that colour', 'look at her dress, look , isn't it gorgeous?'!

I'm getting back into Inspiretty this week, I promise! I've been stalking this dress since it first landed on the Dorothy Perkins website. Not closely enough though, because it sold out in the ink colour (it's deep navy not black-even more gorge) before I had time to buy it. I've been checking several times every day since in the hope they'd restock it (which they have, but not in my size) and their 25% off promotion ended on Sunday, so I just grabbed the green version (extremely pretty too, but I want both) and will hopefully get the other at some point. I'm rather obsessed with lace, so this is one of these no-brainer types for me. I'd probably love it even more if it had nude lining under the sheer bodice section, but then that wouldn't work on all skintones so I can understand why they didn't do that.

I pretty much was mesmerised watching this today. I haven't really had time to properly check out all the photos from fashion weeks, I rarely do have time, however this video is definitely worth the watch. It's the Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton show and involves Kate Moss (meh), a carousel complete with horsies (mega yeah), lots of pastel, embellishment and floaty frou frou (yipee). I'm not entirely convinced on the footwear...just not ready for the pointed toe to come back at all personally, but the ombre mint feather creation at 6.22 is fan-freakin-tabulous.
