Festive Beauty: Day 5

Day 5 of Festive Beauty and we're heading back to 2009. If you missed my post yesterday, I compared the new Too Faced Cinnamon Bun Melted Matte to previous shades and over on The Shoe Girl Diaries today, there's a double post (well technically triple, but I'm counting it as 2) to make up for not posting yesterday. As always, there's a little treat the bottom of each post.
So this was the No7 Jewelled Eyes palette that launched in 2009. The quad couldn't have been better named, with it's rich jewel tones.
The compact has a textured finish and the back reads, "Trust us at No7 to get your make-up right with our latest Limited Edition collection of foolproof colours to bring out the best in you. Line the eye with complementary pencil to complete the look. A must have staple for make-up novices to make-up junkies."
I love the woven patterning on the shadows, though it's quite easily disturbed once you start using it. The set also came with a small Essential Eyeliner in black.
My swatches are one swipe, aside from the green which needed a second layer. I did heavily load my finger for the swatch (on bare skin, no primer), but I'm impressed with the pigmentation and they all felt very soft and smooth. The copper and red were the richest and most opaque, with the purple performing slightly better than the green, which is by no means bad, just not as pigmented as the two bottom shades in the palette.
Your treat for today is save up to 15% on premium beauty brands such as Dior, Clinique, Fenty Beauty, Clarins, MAC, Givenchy, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, Drunk Elephant, Too Faced and many more.
