Flashback Beauty Friday 49: Versace Eye Shadow

Last week I shared my Jonathan Saunders/17 collaboration lipstick from way back in 2007 and today I have another fashion related piece from the discontinued Versace makeup line.

This makeup line was phased out in 2009ish after launching in the late 90's. I bought a considerable amount of their stuff online from discount makeup websites back then. This is the Stunning Luminous Eye Shadow in shade V2008-O. You may recall my previous Versace post on lipglosses with similar, forgettable shade numbers.  

The little gold jar features this domed, slightly transparent lid with the medusa head the fashion brand is known for. You twist the lid off to reveal a round pan shadow inside.

This type of shade I absolutely love; a teal but with gold shift/sheen. It's so pretty. I've used this a lot over the years, though it looks not bad here considering.  The whole Versace line was just so ostentatious wasn't it? No less flashy than I'd expect though 😉 Do you remember their makeup?
