7 Pout Lipslick lip glosses with purple metal fishnet print lids
Welcome to another trip down beauty memory lane. Last week, I shared a limited edition MAC Spring collection product from a few years ago and today I have some regular items from a long discontinued brand.

These are the Pout Lipslick lipglosses. Pout were a lovely little boutique brand that sadly ceased trading in 2007 and although I'd bought regularly from them over the years, when they were closing, I snapped up almost everything they had in stock!

These little 4ml glosses came in a clear plastic tube so you could see the colour easily, with a metal, frosted metallic, lilac lid in their fishnet print. Inside, the wand applicator had a slanted doe-foot sponge. They came housed in drawer style boxes, purple with Pout written in pink and a pink tray that slid out. I've long since thrown those away.

The shade names were all "...Girl". Here I have, Good Time Girl, Sexy Girl, Pin Up Girl, Gorgeous Girl, Play Girl, Geisha Girl and the red is Glamour Girl. You'll be able to see in the swatches that some have a frosted shimmer finish, others don't, regardless they all felt smooth (no glitter chunks).  The glosses had a lovely consistency, not too thin and runny, but not too thick and sticky either.  I recall them having a yummy, foody scent, vanilla or caramel like cake batter type scent. It was warm and not overpowering, I loved it. There's a decent amount of pigment in these glosses, though they could also be applied quite sheerly if desired. Gorgeous Girl I remember as being my favourite nude, I was also fond of Good Time Girl which was a darker, more caramel shade (neither had shimmer). The darkened plum, Geisha Girl, wasn't a colour I owned a lot of (in other brands), so I used that one a lot too and the lighter frosts were lovely 'every day' shades to wear alone or over lipstick.
