Schuh Crazy Glitter Shoes

Schuh Crazy Glitter Shoe
Hello lovelies, it's been shoes galore recently, hasn't it? If you can manage high heels, then these are your Christmas shoes sorted. Glitter-tastic!
Schuh Crazy Glitter Shoes
I wore them last week on The Shoe Girl Diaries for Shoesday Tuesday, but wanted to have a more thorough look at them here. They are Schuh 'Crazy' glitter courts* £65 and the stock photos simply don't do them justice. I spoke about the shape in that post and how I'd been worried the toe might be too elongated, but it's not at all. They actually have a really flattering cut on the foot that to be honest, you'd expect of a much more pricey shoe. The uppers are a striking midnight shade with larger sporadic multi coloured pieces of glitter. They twinkle non-stop and don't fail to impress. Prepare for a lot off 'oohing' and 'ahhing' noises around these!  There's piping around the edge of the shoe, to help prevent the glitter scratching your skin or snagging tights. Despite the heel height (and no platform) they are easy to walk in and actually really comfortable.  I think between a combination of age and not wearing shoes often recently, has meant I've grown tired of the ridiculous high heels and favour something more 'wearable' these days, but these really aren't difficult to master.  The lining is leather, so really soft against your foot and they are padded under the ball of your foot, which should help alleviate aches.   Schuh Crazy Glitter Shoes glitter close up Schuh Crazy Glitter Shoes side
The heel is a thin stiletto in darkened silver mirror metallic, measuring just over 4 1/2".  Another worry of mine, was that this part might look 'cheap' but again I was pleasantly surprised, if anything it's a nice contrast against the sparkly uppers.  As for sizing, these are spot on, just go for your normal size.     Schuh Crazy Glitter Shoes heel close up Schuh Crazy Glitter Shoes back
The shoe itself also comes in mirrored silver.  I was kinda tempted by those because I don't own anything like them, but glitter trumps pretty much everything doesn't it?  What are your thoughts?

  3. Ohhh love these! I haven't been wearing heels much lately (too hectic schedule and too much commuting) but these look so tempting that I'm thinking of wearing heels next week when we go out:))

    1. I don't wear shoes often now, so usually feel it when I slip on high heels, but these surprised me, easier to walk in than I would've thought with such a skinny heel.

  4. Oh wow! Those are some beautiful shoes! I don't think I'd be able to walk in them, but I'm known to buy shoes just because to me they are like works of art!

    1. The heel looks quite intimidating, but is actually easier to tackle than I thought.
