Slightly different format for you this week as we take a look back over multiple eras rather than one specific item. Flashback Beauty Friday is a weekly trip down beauty memory lane, specifically limited edition or discontinued items and their packaging.  Like I say, I'm doing something a bit different this week (it wasn't my intention, it just happened) and actually I've ended up taking some more photos to add to this post, so we can have a real history and discussion on the present and past.

Every now and then I like to throw a weird packaging concept into the mix and this week is definitely it! Flashback Beauty Friday is a nostalgic look back at old makeup products and their packaging, especially limited edition or discontinued pieces. Last week, was the very fun MAC Suedette palette from their Formal Black festive release in 2006.

I mentioned last week that I'd been digging around in a massive drawer where I store most of my bigger eyeshadow palettes and older ones. I found this gem, along with a few others from the brand and am so excited to have them back in my collection! The drawer I kept them in became inaccessible (well not entirely, but a bit of a hassle to get into), so I'm definitely keeping a lot of these rediscoveries out where I'll use them.
