Early Sales Bargains

I'm loving all these early sales, although my bank may disagree. I couldn't resist these gorgeous 'Barrs' strapped shoes from Aldo reduced from £75 to £34.98. They look like they might be quite small so I ordered my usual size and one bigger. When spending £60 you get free delivery and also free returns with every order, so it's easy to send one pair back. I also signed up to their newsletter which entitled me to a further 10% off, bargain!

Free Boots/Rimmel Palette Images

My Mum surprised me with this Rimmel palette yesterday which she got free in Boots (when spending £10 on Rimmel). She bought nail polish (she doesn't wear makeup), so I fell heir to the palette. This year the palette features 6 cool shades of eyeshadow (white, pink, lilac, grey, silver and blue), a pink striped blusher and 4 lip glosses, all in compact palette with mirror and applicators.

Soap & Glory Big Thrill, Big Discount

I'm pretty gutted about what I'm about to tell you. The fantabulous Soap & Glory Big Thrill hatbox (featuring 11 of the best selling S&G products) is currently £50 at Boots, come tomorrow (Friday 18th) it'll be reduced to an unbelievably bargainious £20!!! The reason I'm not pleased is because I don't think my local store even carry this, so I'm unlikely to get it. I would urge you all to scoop it up as fast as you can though. I've bought several sets from this years gift line (reviews to come later) and have been over the moon with them. You've been warned, now get those elbows ready!
*Because I'm sad and have absolutely no life, I decided to go online at midnight to check if boots.com updated with the price change. The site was being 'refreshed' with their new offers, so I continued to refresh the page for over an hour (even falling asleep, sitting up...twice!), but with no success. My sister woke me at a ridiculous hour this morning to say she had eventually managed to get the £20 hat box into my basket, I just had to checkout (easier said than done). It took me over 2 hours to complete checkout. I even managed to complete the whole transaction, putting in all my card details and then the order confirmation page 'could not be displayed', so I had to go through the whole process again. The site is still mostly showing an error page so you'll be lucky if you manage to buy anything from Boots today, just thought I'd keep you updated*

The Christmas Shoes

I watched a really cheesy, channel 5, christmas film with that title last year. I think Rob Lowe was in it. Anyway, my favourite quirky shoe-makers, Irregular Choice, have brought out 2 limited edition festive styles. Flick Flack have had yet another make-over in either black, blue or red patent with sparkly sequins, but my favourite are Oz with see-through engraved heel and shiny, metallic bow in green or red. The green pair were out of stock on the Irregular Choice site within a few days, but thankfully Schuh have come to my rescue and I didn't dither and ordered them yesterday. They arrived today and are even more glorious than I imagined.
The green is a very rich, luscious, Christmas shade (hard to get across in the photos). The interior is orange crushed velvet and the sole is floral. The carved heel is what made me fall in love with IC all those years ago (and I've heard the S/S 10 collection is going back to these roots, so expect more like this). Now I just have to plan my Christmas outfit around these shoes!

The Christmas Unicorn

Look at this Christmas card my little sis gave me (she's the little one on the front, I'm bigger with fairy wings!). I think that unicorn is the most shaggy, pretty, cute thing ever. She always manages to pick the most perfect and unusual cards, who would actually put 2 sisters on a unicorn with a Christmas theme? Made for me!
It's actually trying to snow here today which is quite exciting!
