Haul: Meadham Kirchhoff For Topshop

I went to bed at 1am, got back up at 6am, with very little sleep in that time, all to buy some cute shoes from the Meadham Kirchhoff collection that just launched at Topshop today! I've been stressing so bad about this the past few weeks. Add to that my ridiculously slow internet, which has been playing up for a fortnight and I was wired to say the least. Some items I'd been expected, I didn't see, some items popped up that I hadn't seen in the previews. However, I managed to order the items I most wanted and after checkout taking a full 35 minutes to complete (completely down to my internet troubles, rather than a slow Topshop), I think I managed to secure an order just after 7am!
Top of my list were the red sequin rainbow heels £180. They just feel magical with their witchy shape and fabulous layered rainbow heel.
I decided last minute to pop this coordinating red sequin heart, lace trimmed bag £40 in my basket too. Not sure if I'll keep it, but worth seeing if it looks cute with the shoes. I couldn't get all the images to load on the website, so am not too sure how big it is.
I've hummed and hawed so much about these fluffy pastel shoes £130 over the past few weeks. Would they be too low for me? Would the fur get dirty? Eh, what would I wear them with? In the end I went with them. I love the colours, the shape of the toe, the bows, the sheer absolute downright crazy factor of them and I want to try them and see if they work for me. I think they scream Meadham Kirchhoff.
Finally a little striped pair of frilly socks £8. I probably should've bought the cherry pair to go with the red shoes-that would've looked hot, but I didn't think it through entirely with all that was happening!
I loved the thigh high boots but at £400 quickly took them off my wishlist yesterday! I also liked the shorter version, loving that glitter platform and 70's feel, but they'd gone in my size, as had the green glitter face boots. I nearly bought the fur handbag (and considered the furry boots!) but didn't and I also really loved the pastel version of my red shoes. In some ways, it was nice that some things had already sold out in my size, so I didn't have too many decisions about what to buy.  I couldn't have it all and for once was thankful I probably wouldn't fit a size 16, as I'd have wanted so much more! I thought some of the clothes were very reasonably priced and would certainly have tried both navy eyeball dresses at £80 each. Anyway, hopefully my order went through alright and I'm not charged twice or my bank don't decline it because it's a stupid amount of money at a ridiculous hour of the day! I'm hoping I don't fall asleep today and can get on with some much neglected blogging ; ) Is this collection too crazy for you or do you like that it's true to MK's style?

  1. I'd not =heard much about this collection before it launched, but I don't think there's anything in there which is totally grabbing me. I'm not sure why, as usually the cherry bag and the cute tights would be winners.

    1. I have to say I'd usually totally go for the cherry stuff too, but I didn't with this.
