After my Irregular Choice Care Bear box post the other day, I thought I should begin to tackle the (many) item reviews from this collection. My sister was really excited about this collection (sadly her feet are too small for the shoes) and although she'd been furloughed all those months, the one day she had to go in for training was 12 o'clock on launch day, typical! Having not seen the full collection prior to launch, I had no idea what she wanted, so I ordered a whole bunch of stuff and if she didn't like it, I could send it back. This item was a possibility for her and whenever she saw it, she said there was no way she'd return it, so we were off to a good start!
The Oh Happy Day Purse has two different sides, pink Cheer Bear in gorgeous soft fluffy fabric on the front. The face is embroidered and the purse is shaped like the bear head. The back is fabric with the colourful all-over CB print that featured heavily in this collection. The face is also slightly different, being Grumpy Bear. My sister is torn between her love of fur and grumpy, on which side is her favourite!
Oh and I was also to mention the tag that I didn't include in my previous post. As you can see above, it's adorable; cloud and rainbow shaped with the branding and Bedtime Bear asleep. Back to the purse and there's ears on both sides, which are lightly stuffed and stick up. A zip runs along the top to open and close.
Inside, the label is almost as big as the whole purse! It's also bear head shaped, in rainbow stripes with the Care Bears and Irregular Choice branding. The lining is iridescent pink metallic.
The purse is really quite large, you can definitely fit a lot inside. It also opens pretty well that you can comfortably get your hand in to find your money or keys or whatever. I thought I'd compare it to the size of the clutch bag from the same collection, below.
I think my sister has more IC purses than me, she's considering using this one as a gadget case (she takes music to work), I'm sure she'll find a use for it anyway.
