Remember my 'Pony Party' post last month, about the latest collection at Paperchase? I mentioned that I'd made several orders, so here's another part. The remainder might have to come over another two posts (there's still so much). Most of these items, my sister bought for my birthday and she tells me, this collection wasn't as prominent as the unicorn ones instore. So she's picked up the odd thing, over time when she spotted something new.
First up is this gorgeous story exercise book. In a card cover with a princess kingdom theme, it's a little bigger than A5 but not as big as A4. The pages inside are half blank, half lined. In each corner is a big princess picture and you can draw or doodle in the top and write in the bottom section. No idea what I'd use it for, but the concept is so cute, my sister couldn't resist. It just makes you want to write poetry or cute, short stories!
She also got me the glitter A5 notebook, because she knows I love that style and use it a lot. I spoke about them in my last post, but they're really thick and I like that although the glitter is there (it may seem impractical) it doesn't rub off and fall out because of the plastic sleeve covering it. The pages are lined and there's also a ribbon place marker.
For my birthday, I also got a sheet of princess stickers, they are pearly, puffy stickers. There's princesses, castles, unicorns, crowns, carriages, rainbows, owls and more.
Now you need something to write with in all these notebooks, don't you? So I ordered the multi pen, which comes with 6 different coloured inks. There's a rubber butterfly on the clip and the princess theme on the actual pen. I find them really handy for blog scheduling because I can use different colours for different aspects or to alert me to something or to tick something off my to-do list.
My sister had already bought me the fluffy unicorn topped pen. I had a faint recollection of her buying me a princess one too, but we couldn't find it, so I must've made that up! Isn't it cute though? I've been a serial fluffy pen user ever since Clueless, 20 years ago...I got some strange looks at school, then university! It stops boys borrowing (and losing) your pen though, because they are too embarrassed to be seen with it!
A pencil case is required to keep these in and yes, there's a matching princess one. It's wipe-clean pvc in pale pink with glitter. It has a rainbow coloured zip, butterfly zip pull and a front pocket (velcro fastening flap), which is also zipped. I actually went to buy this online and it had sold out (since been restocked), but my sister found one (the only one left) in our local store, so I was happy!
Finally the princess novelty fairy lights, which I forgot to photograph for this post, because they were already hanging in my room! I did find a couple of photos of them though, so you get the idea. My sister has several of these and finds them really useful because they are battery operated, so you can hang them anywhere, rather than them having to be near a plug point. This isn't a permanent fixture, but I hung them on one of the cupboards in my shoe room. I think they'll end up around the headboard of my bed though. Each image is sparkly and they are ever so pretty at night.
I'll have the rest of my Pony Party and Wild Aztec unicorn items up soon, so look out for that. Do you like this range?
