I have painted my toe and finger nails permanently since I was about 12. I've gone through many phases with the colours. Does anyone remember the Lancome peel-off nail polish? I used them in my late teens in bright tomato red, orange, lime green and brown. Before that I'd been fond of pastels (lilac, pink, lemon and green) after wearing sparkly black when I was 13. I would sometimes paint every nail a different colour and even went through a stage of wearing one nail different from the other nine (in the days when I had my nail pierced!). Nowadays my nails are either dark (purple, blue or grey) or mega bright (pink or red) and rarely anything inbetween. However I am lusting after the new Barry M Nail Paint in Mint Green that I keep seeing featured in beauty spreads. I've looked for it in my local Boots and Superdrug, but they just seem to have empty spaces on the stand. Gorgeous new Passion frilled shoes at Topshop . Available in purple with purple heel, black with white heel or yellow with grey heel. However these baby blue numbers are the pair I'm drooling over. I love the strappy, caged effect, frills, snakeskin platform and the colour is just delicious. Although I'm not totally convinced with the harsh black heel. I would've preferred a softer shade and at £95, I'd need these shoes to be perfect.

I have this gigantic box in my room, which I call 'my own little Boots'. It is filled with everything you would find in Boots. Back-ups of beloved items, new things I bought to try out, skincare, haircare and loads of gwp and trial sized products. I buy lots of Lancome cosmetics, so often get their gwp (gift with purchase) items. I recently finished a bottle of No7 cleanser (my usual staple) and thought I'd try out one of my Lancome gwp cleansers, Baume Eclat. I was AMAZED with the results, absolutely 100% for this product, so let me tell you about it. It comes in a tube and is quite a thick cream, so it's easy to squeeze out just the right amount. It is actually very pretty to look at in your hand, as it has an extremely pearlised finish to it, it has a lovely scent as well. Hi (waving frantically)! I am so sorry for the lack of posts this week. As you know I've been busy with my Harajuku competition. It has taken many more hours than I anticipated and although I have enjoyed putting it together, it has been such hard work-I am a little glad it's over! I've been feeling sick today, I think, because I have spent so many hours sitting at the computer. I must admit, I'll be pleased to do other things, even if I don't feel up to it yet.
