The Giant Shoe Clearance

Image
I'm so sorry for the disappearing act this past week or so. Time has just got away from me every single day and last week I was super busy trying to tackle the multi-pile shoe mountain that has developed over the past few months in my bedroom! It's no small task, but I'm desperate for both space and money; so the time came to sell as much as I could. I always find it difficult to let go of my belongings and try to do so before I become too 'attached'. I still struggled immensely with this lot though!  I've sold sooo much over the past couple of years, that I'm really down to the items I love and treasure. Anyway, last week I snapped away, took measurements and listed as much as I could fit into one day! There are tonnes of shoes, a couple of handbags and some cosmetics, all ending tomorrow (Sunday). You could snap up some brand new Irregular Choice shoes including the gorgeous So-Yeon Sarah platforms, the red glitter shoes that still remain one of...

My Week Has Sucked!

This week has had it's ups and downs. The good things were I finally got Monster High 'Ghoulia' Dawn Of The Dance which I've been stalking Argos for. All my locals suddenly got tonnes more stock (fyi St Andrews have 2 Lagoona and Dundee Overgate have 1 Ghoulia and 1 (I think, I was so excited I didn't really look) Cleo, Dundee Wellgate also have 3, but I haven't checked which ones they are). *since writing this the Overgate have got another 2 DOTD in stock, so I don't know which ones they are* I also eventually (we've been searching for weeks) found tights to match an outfit I'd bought for my friends daughter ages ago, for her birthday. The striped pair in the pack perfectly match the stripey pair on the H&M dress and are by Matthew Williamson at Debenhams. We're starting to be extremely thankful that my sister has three boys, because girls clothes are waaay too cute. In Debenhams though, there were soooo many dresses I liked for myself. How...

What A Wonderful Name

I've always wanted a shoe named after me, I just think that would be the coolest accolade, to know a shoe has been created with you in mind and named in your honour. So meet my shoe, the 'Gemma' boot by Terry De Havilland ! Ahem, actually named after Gemma Cairney apparently but we'll pretend it's me as it's a peep toe ankle boot for Christ's sake-how more 'me' can you get? It's been around for a good few seasons but is now available in made-to-order Crystal £650 (above right) and the super cool, limited edition Dagger £595 (above and below) which are exclusive to Selfridges . They're reasonably similar to my TDH metallic green and black lace boot , which are one of my all-time favourite shoes ever, I just love them! The dagger on the heel of this pair though is an amazingly fabulous touch and there are only 10 pairs in circulation to celebrate 50 years of Terry De Havilland shoes and sadly for me, none left in my size : ( Another very li...
