Irregular Choice Family Reunion: Old Versus New Character Heels

Image
Following on from my post last week on the changes made to the dinosaur heels, I've photographed the rest of the Family Reunion heels I bought and compared them to their predecessors. It's less technical and more about cosmetic changes this time. Starting with the bunny heel, Hunnie Bunnie .

Irregular Choice: Character Heelstory

Image
Have you ever wondered which heel is the highest, which character had the most releases, when they started or just how many different heels there's been?  Well this fun (but informative) post contains everything you'll ever need to know about the Irregular Choice character heels.  Though the history may be brief, there's a lot that's happened in that short period and it's all documented here.  I've taken photos of every single character (and concept) heel I currently own. You've perhaps seen them individually, but I've never gathered them together for a group photo before.  I've also linked to my previous posts (they open in a new window, so you won't lose your place here) for you to see the shoes in more detail if you haven't before and included some current 'in stock' links if you wish to add to your own collection.

The Final Panda: Irregular Choice Tian Tian

Image
If you cast your mind back to March, you'll maybe recall the release of the 'panda' heel from Irregular Choice. Now I tried three different styles, until I found a pair I was satisfied with.  I began with Pin Yin in yellow and black and sent back both, because they weren't quite right for me. Then came Tian Tian , much more subtle, available in black or salmon pink. I immediately knew the pink were for me, but unfortunately they weren't released here, only available on Asian/US sites. So I bought the black, which don't get me wrong are lovely, but I was still hankering after the other colour. I'd given up hope of ever getting them, when one day in May (after the sick bug), I found them, available in the UK! Imagine my horror when the only size out of stock was the one I wanted. I don't know how many days they'd been on the site, but I was gutted that I'd missed them. You know I love a good stalk though, so I signed up to the stock not...

Irregular Choice Panda Shoe Comparison

I thought you'd be keen to see a side-by-side comparison of both colours of the Irregular Choice panda heels, if you were still debating which to buy. I initially promised this post last week, but I bought another pair, so wanted to combine all three.  The majority of photos are of Pin Yin, but I've thrown in some Tian Tian too.

Irregular Choice Tian Tian Panda Heels

Meet Irregular Choice 'Tian Tian' , my third pair of panda heels for consideration! Yes, not content with two pairs, I've added another into the mix and I think these could be the pair I keep. They were actually the first pair I saw in a not so detailed sneaky photo earlier in the year. So I was surprised then, to find them not included in the four released the other week.

Panda Heels: Irregular Choice Pin Yin

Image
Last Friday saw the latest character heel release from Irregular Choice, a panda this time. In two styles (four colourways), I'll be honest and say though I loved the heel, I wasn't overly enamoured with the sneaky look we got at the shoes themselves. When they launched at 12pm, I was still no further forward with deciding which pair to get.  So I kept my options open and bought two colours, with the intention of returning one, so here they are!
