Festive Beauty 2022: Day 3

Every day I'm blogging old and new limited edition, Holiday beauty releases, in the run up to Christmas. Today's items were part of Guerlain's 2020 Christmas release, Golden Bee. Guerlain Rouge G lipsticks and cases are sold separately and I chose the Golden Ruby case with mixed gold and ruby gems (the other option was all gold). These cases are extremely weighty and the lipstick pulls out the side, popping open the mirror (the mirror is held down by the 'G').  Under direct, artificial light, this case is seriously blinding!

The lipstick I picked was the gem shaped Rouge G in 001 Top Coat. It's a pale, almost clear base with sporadic gold micro-shimmer that could be worn alone or on top of another lipstick colour. It's very hard for me to arm swatch as it's pretty much the same colour as my skin, so I didn't bother!
