I have a very deluxe looking eye palette for you today after the amazing liquid eyeshadows from discontinued brand, Versace, last week. Definitely check that out if you haven't seen it, the swatches are not to be missed.
Guerlain recently launched a new line of quad eyeshadow palettes, the Ombres G Eyeshadow Quad, which is apparently an amazing formula (that mesmerizing blue/green, Mystic Peacock is on my wishlist) and it made me think if I had any older Guerlain palettes I could share here. I think this one dates back to around 2005 and then was discontinued a couple of years later. It's the Divinora, Radiant Colour Palette, 4 Shade Eyeshadow, mine here in Touche De Strass 243.
As you'd expect from a luxury brand, the outer compact is impressive. It's a chunky palette with this etched gold, raised design encased in clear perspex.
Inside is a round palette with four rounded, almost triangular shaped shadows. In the centre is a double ended sponge applicator and there's a full size mirror under the the lid.
243 Touche De Strass contains a light ivory, light gold toned yellow, bubblegum pink and taupe-brown. All 4 seem to contain a lot of glitter. Now I would've swatched these for you, but I'm convinced I had another one of these, one that I used (I think it may even have been a tester and I kept this 'good one' untouched). My eyeshadows are mostly sorted by colour and I have a drawer of pinks/neutrals/browns, which this one should be in and it isn't. I've hunted high and low, but can't find it unfortunately. I do however, have another couple of well used ones (in tester packaging, so I didn't photograph them for you). Those shades were a purple mix in Touche De Parme 265 and one of my all-time most used palettes ever, Touche De Brume 285, with greys and neutrals (I've almost hit pan on the lightest, highlighting shade in that one). Generally there was a highlighting and liner shade in these palettes with two colours for the lids. Do you remember this one or have your eye on any of the new ones?
