New Irregular Choice Eternal Friend Unicorns

Hello, how have you all been this week? I've updated The Shoe Girl Diaries with what's been happening, but if you haven't read it, I'm back to blogging (hopefully). There's been loads going on since we last spoke that I wanted to blog about and I've bought a few things in the sale (and some non-sale stuff), but those posts take a little longer to prepare, so I'll get to them at some point. Actually I was taking photos of shoes for the blog today and a not funny thing happened. A rather speedy spider ran at me from across the room mid-shoot. I have no shame in admitting I'm the biggest wuss when it comes to eight legged creatures, so obviously rather than kill capture it, I ran! I plucked up the courage to sneak back in and saw it disappear behind a pile of stuff, so grabbed my camera, picked the shoes up off the floor and shut the door (because all spiders use open doors to get in and out)!! So that was the end of the picture-taking and I'm never venturing back in there until it's caught. Big baby, yep! The dude should know the shoe room is a sacred "invitation only" mecca (though not sacred enough it can't be killed in there). Anyway, speaking of shoes, in my absence, these little pups were released. irregular choice unicorn eternal friend

The unicorn heels from Irregular Choice have come in many forms, but we haven't seen a sequins Eternal Friend available in the UK until now. They are cheaper on that link (plus use code ZALALPAJUNJUL for £5 off, orders over £50), but also available here (you can use WELCOME for £10 off if it's your first order, valid on orders over £60). You can see my original pair of Eternal Friend in this post, I found my usual size tight but the bigger size gaped a bit, so I stuck with the smaller pair (reminds me, they need a little stretching at some point). Mine are black canvas with gold metallic stars, but this new pair are covered in biggish black sequins. They are trimmed with the green/purple metallic snakeskin we've seen on the black lamb and panda heels recently and if this isn't glitzy enough, the stars are multi-coloured glitter! The heel is exactly the same as the originals, with the blue shading and gold glitter horn.  Speaking of IC, you may have noticed the new banner in the sidebar (that-a-way >>>), announcing that I'll be blogging about Irregular Choice every week! I'd been thinking about what I enjoyed, what excites me most to blog about and also what my readers like.  The answer was the same for them all, "Irregular Choice".  I know the majority of you found me through an appreciation of the brand, so I thought it would be fun to include at least one IC post every week (on both blogs too).  So here is your quota for this week and I wore Irregular Choice for Shoesday Tuesday if you missed it earlier.  However, I have a MEGA exciting IC thing happening on Monday, so you must check back for that (it's time limited, so don't miss it).  What do you think of these shimmering unicorns though, are you keen to finally own a pair or maybe prefer them over a pair you already have? 1. Oh they are so pretty!! Too high for me but if they did a flat version of the stars and glitter etc, I'd be on it like a shot!x

    1. I have three normal unicorns and the gold pair, so I think it might be overkill to invest in another!

  2. Ohh! I have to say, these are my fave version of the unicorn heels so far! Looking forward to seeing more IC posts, I totally live through you with IC shoes, the AU$ just makes them too expensive.

  3. Wow these are pretty (I LOVE that glittery horn!) and I think the back view is just breathtaking. I think I'll always love the bunny wedge heel the most (especially now that I have a bunny) but this is also a lovely pair! (Glad to see you posting again!!:-*)
