Like I said, I've changed tack this week and gone for something I genuinely like. I was bombarded with so many ugly items, that I simply couldn't decide which hideous one to pick next! So instead, I opted for something a little quirky that might still divide opinion, but that I really love (don't worry I don't/won't take offence if you hate it). It's a Karl Lagerfeld face bag £155 in leather by illustrator Tiffany Cooper. Now sometimes Herr Lagerfeld can be a meany (speaking before thinking), but his image is instantly identifiable and easily manipulated into something serious or tongue in cheek from a childlike cartoon to a chic fashion illustration. So I do have a fondness for him. He's certainly taken himself (and his cat) as 'faces' of his brand and just run with it. Yet again, he's come up with something playful but chic in this little bag. What I love is that you turn the bag over and it has the back of his head, complete with ponytail! Such a cute detail. Now we all know I like my bags a little kitsch (actually a lot kitsch), so this definitely gets the thumbs up from me, what about you, would you wear it? For a massive 30% off this bag, saving £46.50, just click the link above and enter the code 6FW63 (valid on all SS15 stock (excluding GHD or AW15) until May 25th). Would You Wear...?
Would You Wear? is back, with a slightly different viewpoint, but more on that later. Before we start, we have to analyse our views on the ASOS crochet cape last time. You weren't impressed, with the general feeling being that it was a half finished garment with little purpose. 86.8% of you practically shouted that you wouldn't wear it! 7.9% would and two people were undecided, thinking they could maybe make it work. If your Granny finds the rest of the wool and finishes it of course!

Ha, he looks like Mozart in cartoon form! I love it!x
ReplyDeleteYes! I knew it resembled something!
DeleteI would wear it (totally!) but I wouldn't buy it :D Too much money for me (although if it were for a pair of shoes it wouldn't seem so expensive, priorities!)
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes I do silly maths/priorities like that too! Not too shabby with the 30% discount, very reasonable and tempting me!
DeleteHi Lovely,
ReplyDeleteAre you ok? Missing you.
Oh and... http://sillyoldseadog.com/product/handmade-1950s-style-unicorn-pencil-skirt/
Thanks kezzie, slowly getting there. Gah, I loooove that!
DeleteHmm, I'm not a fan of him tbh.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't wear this one because of who it is specifically, but I do like (and wear) this kind of kitsch in general. :3
ReplyDeleteI can understand that x
