Would You Wear...?

Hello, I'm back with (hopefully) a new weekly feature! I'm going to choose a random, but somewhat questionable fashion item and ask you what you think, if you like it and whether or not you'd wear it. I myself buy things that my sisters wouldn't dare and they look at things in shops, I wouldn't even notice, so it's like a thinking out loud thing and I want your opinions, for fun! I am partnering up with my other blog The Shoe Girl Diaries to ask the same question, though there it will be specifically footwear we're discussing. So pop on over to see a strappy, pointed toe, mule this week, oh yeah! I'm going to embed a poll within the post (if I know how) so place your vote, but I'd like to hear your thoughts in the comments section too, especially if you opt for the 'maybe' category. Next week, we'll see whether you rated or slated this item. warehouse cropped jumpsuit

Ok, to start, this was something that caught my eye today, because I went "what is that?". I looked closer and to be truthful, I'm still not all that sure. It's a Warehouse jumpsuit £70, but it's cropped culottes, has a sheer 'cape' back and a crop top effect to the front bodice. I can't believe all that is one item of clothing. I have no idea how to get in it, never mind out of it (especially when you're in need of the loo)! Despite the plain fabric (which is just begging for something to be spilt down btw), there's just way too much going on for me.  I think if I wanted to wear a top with shorts, I'd do it.  I don't need a ready made one and those culottes are more baggy shorts than culottes if I can be pedantic.  So, no, I wouldn't wear this, not the ugliest thing I've seen, but not for me.  What do you think though?

  1. It's not for me, mainly because of the colour. I once got caught out wearing pale bottoms and the red deluge arrived. Having slightly irregular monthlies (and being the kind of person who drops food on herself a lot, ha!) means I stick to dark bottoms now. And wasn't that way TMI? ;) x

    1. Oh noooooo! I once had what I can only describe as a 'flood' walking home from Uni in light jeans (along a main road). Thank goodness I was wearing a long coat (albeit with only one button, so I had to awkwardly hold it shut), so yeah I try and stick to dark colours too! I'm not a massive food dropper, but I just think this jumpsuit is asking for it (or someone else to spill something).

  2. I actually think it looks lovely BUT my opinion pretty much mirrors yours (including the toilet comment and spillling HA!) x

  3. I think it is the colour that's putting me off most but having said that I have a slight obsession with finding a jumpsuit/playsuit that suits me - all which I am actually doing is finding a fair few that really don't suit me and provided comedy value for others :)

    1. Oh yikes! I've bought a few, but rarely wear them. I prefer to cut the wide legged ones into maxi dresses instead! I just don't think jumpsuits are my thing!!

  4. I kind of like it from the front but I really dislike how it looks in the back. So not a fan. All the spilling comments remind me that I had on a pale dress this past weekend and when I came home I noticed I had managed to spill tomato sauce on it and tomato sauce is seriously the devil, so hard to get it out!

    1. Oh no. Yes my nephews are good at getting that on their clothes and it stains like mad.
