How crazy is this Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal? Not quite sure I agree with the UK 'adopting' it, as it has no relevance to us (linking with Thanksgiving in the US which we don't celebrate). I just think we are in more need to celebrate our own 'holidays' rather than picking and choosing the popular ones and saying things like "happy holidays" which we didn't used to. St. Andrews Day on the 30th anyone? So I wasn't going to write this post as many shops changed their dates and some didn't want anything mentioned until the minute it started, however I've put all the discounts together in one post for you. Helpful I know! These are some of my affiliate companies and the easiest way was to go through them alphabetically and methodically and list them for you. Yes I know there are other places doing discounts too, but there's a limit to how much of my day can be spent on this! This post took a long time to compile, so please don't copy and paste it into your own blog, instead link to this post.
A reminder to be patient whilst online shopping, it took me 2 hours to place a simple order with ASOS last night. Sometimes homepages won't load first time and websites are crashing. Arcadia (Topshop, Miss S, Wallis etc) are displaying 'site down' pages, but later it will work, it's manic. The alternative is wrestling with several grouchy people and risking getting arrested over a TV that you don't even need and will probably be broken from the scuffle anyway. Let me know if you've bought any bargains and happy online shopping everyone!!

Och I don't really care either way, tbh. But this is great thank you! :D
ReplyDeleteNo problem. I only ordered what I'd been waiting on a discount code for, was a nice treat to get a little something off, but don't really buy into this whole BF mega craze ; )
DeleteSo many sites with deals! I bought two Pin Up Girl Clothing dresses but that's it. I've been saving up for them for a while and they had 30% off the website today so I was pleased.
ReplyDeleteOh lovely. That was like me, just ordered a few things I'd been wanting and waiting for a code for. Was a little overwhelmed with all the discounts to be honest.
DeleteYou have taken so much time over this! Wow! I won't be buying anything, particularly as I hate the fact we've cottoned onto some irrelevant American idea and thus will not be making any association with it but I thank you on behalf of others.
ReplyDeleteYes! Kept thinking it was too much work to do, but in the end decided to do it. Exactly, I just don't get it. Halloween has already become VERY 'Americanised' here, though I kinda like to see everyone dressed up and houses with spooky things, but what annoys me is when I was young we called it 'guising' and now it's 'trick or treating' which we would never have said. Plus I really hate people saying 'Happy Holidays' instead of 'Happy Christmas'. It's like they are trying to be PC and not mention 'Christ' incase it's offensive to someone, but if you don't celebrate Christmas you wouldn't say either anyway!
Deletegood to see new look of PHP<3
ReplyDeleteThank you, I finally took the plunge!
