LOTD Challenge Day 22

This is one of the prettiest lips I've done for the challenge (not sure if the photo corroborates that though). I used to love these lipslicks by Pout, I have tonnes of them. This isn't a colour I normally reach for-it looks very copper in the tube, but comes out a beautiful shimmering pink with only a hint of copper. Kiss Cashmere Lip pencil

LOTD Challenge Day 21

Hi, I slept all afternoon and feel slightly refreshed and ready to crack on with things! I really had to fiddle around with the colours of this photo to get it to look like what it does in real life. The camera was washing out the colour, even without the flash. It's a bright true coral on my lips. Pout lip pencil in 32a

MAC Haul: Graphic Garden and One-Off e/s

I'm feeling a bit yucky today, but here's a quick look at my MAC haul. I still have more detailed images of the lip products including swatches with my other recent nude lip buys to come.

MAC Graphic Garden eyeshadow palette: I think I have the shade names in the correct order. It may seem strange that they greyish silver is Linear Lilac, while the lilac shade is Wild Wisteria. However I've checked the few face charts there are for this collecton and Wild Wisteria appears to be the lilac one. The black e/s (Graphic Garden) actually has pink and purple glitter through it, which didn't really show in the images. When you tilt the palette the lid changes from the monochrome floral print to the mac logo, cool huh?Lip Bag: Summer Crop includes Summer Crop lipglass and Semi Annual and Garden Bed lipsticks (don't you love how the print continues, even inside the box?).Finally One-Off eyeshadow from Love That Look.Click to enlarge, do not steal images and more to come soon!

LOTD Challenge Day 20

Again, sorry it's late today. I've been busy swatching all my lovely, new nude lipsticks and glosses, they are sooo pretty. I don't know how I'm going to show restraint and not wear them for the next lot of LOTD's. However I fear I may do the opposite and not use any of them incase I need to 'save them' for special occasions!

Now I must explain myself before showing you todays pic. I know it's a makeup sin to wear red lips without liner, but I was in such a hurry and decided this would best show the colour (I wiped it all off after the photo). So as you can see it had already started to 'bleed', but you get the colour idea. I hope. It's a mega bright red with a lovely sheen.Wet'n'Wild Silk finish Lipstick in Raunchy Red

Review & Swatches: Glitter Eyeliner NYX, C2000, UD, TF

I'm a little disappointed with how the swatches turned out for these. I feel the true glittery-ness of them hasn't really come out very well. Anyway, Collection 2000 Glam Crystals are my all time favourite liquid, glitter eyeliner. I tell everyone to buy these! I was so amazed with the quality the first time I used them. They are quick-drying, long-lasting and so deeply infused with glitter that you get an amazing swipe with just one stroke of the little brush. I have worn them as a thin line alone or over an eye pencil or even over the entire lid instead of eyeshadow for sparkle amazement!
They cost £2.99 and are often on offer in Boots or Superdrug. C2000 regularly release new shades, the latest being Pow!, Spandex and Shake It Up!-I bought the first two on Tuesday but had taken these pictures beforehand, so they are not shown here. I didn't buy the purple one because I found it a little dry and not 'up there' in quality with the rest of them. I have also found this with my blue one (Night Fever) and don't know if these shades are all like that or if I just got 2 dodgy ones! See swatch for details of shade names.
Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter e/l, probably the original to start the trend for multi colours of glitter eyeliner. I find the glitter more sporadic in this and you really need several layers to build up the intensity of the sparkle. It also takes quite a long time to dry. Retails for £12, available in an array of colours.
Too Faced Starry Eyed (£11.50-£13), originally just 3 or 4 shades if I remember, now 9 colours. I chose this shade because the gel that the glitter is in was coloured turquoise too. I found the other were just clear gel with glitter pieces in them and the result wasn't quite so intense.
NYX Candy Glitter Liners are available in loads of colours including unusual shades like bright yellow or lime green. I love the packaging with cute black tassle on the end. However I found these really poor in comparison to C2000 (which are priced similarly). Most of the clear or tinted gels have very few glitter pieces in them and I really had to build up the intensity for the swatch pictures. One or two swipes provides very little colour and glitter. Swatch image above shows all glitter eyeliners to compare (in same order as detailed before). All product pictures are shown in same order as named swatch pictures.
